Well since I don't buy pc games that much I would need to know this answer first before buying this one.

Ok it goes like this.

Basicly I want to play guildway,one of the new one.Call Eye of something.

And it have 'expandsion on it.So does I need to buy the original guildwar and 'patch' over it with the expandsion or something?

Or can I just buy the expandsion and it will work?

Hmm, I thought they were separate games. I think you can buy a different guildwars and still play it but you can't get stuff from the previous guildwars. Unless you're talking about the actual expansions. (They plan to have expansions for current versions I think)

i thought u needed all previous expansions like u would need all like 3 other expansions before eye of north will work

I'm 99% sure that all GuildWars games are standalone and expandable. For example: You can buy Factions and play with out having the original GW.
Seeing as that was the only GW game I have atm, I'm basing my guess on that. So go buy GWEN Qiucky =0

all GW games so far are stand alone games. GW:EN is the first expansion of all GW.
