its a good game but if you dont play with friends then u rly wont find it fun so yea look for someone to play with before starting that way it doesnt get boring

Even without friends if you just put "Lvl 10 Emp Healer LFG" (after 10 being what you are..) it wont take long to get picked up, unless you play at an hour no ones on and on a less populated server. Its not hard to make friends when its so easy to get picked up fast, too.

I prefer CoV over CoH but it comes down to personal taste.

yeaah, im gunna get the duo edition, and i have never had trouble finding groups, and i would be more than able to solo on lesser monsters, if i cant find one, and i just need to know if its just a 1 time fee or if u have to pay monthly

1 Time fee? Being that you buy the game and then its F2P like GW? If so, no, its 15$ monthly or you can buy bulk months for cheaper.

The game is a really good game, I have played it myself and enjoyed it =/ (should buy it though, but I fear I won't have time to play it). It's original from other games, I mean you can be a super hero or a villan. What more can you ask for?

Yes you have a monthly fee of $15, BUT there are alternatives. You can get timecards that last for 60 days for about $25, and I'd say thats a good buy compared to paying $15 a month. You can buy them online or at a nearby store.

This is merely my opinion, but I firmly believe CoH/CoV sends WoW's *** flying.

I've played many, if not all Free and P2P MMORPG, and this is what my honed opinion has come down to.

You could try Two worlds.Though you cant consider it an mmorpg.Mainly just a singleplayer rpg with online capabilities.Meaning its room based ( can play with up to 8 players)like diablo.I heard it was an awesome game and judging by the videos it looks pretty nice.Or you can always wait for GW:2 for next year XD

yeah i had COH but i advise you 2 w8 till december because then you get a free jetpack and free bonus skills as a Xmas gift its great.

its a reli gd game but you need like 1 gig RAM tho
i only have 512mb so it lags alot and reli slow loading.
but except from that its a extremly gd game.

CoH/V is fun until you play other MMOs with actual depth. I am a huge comic fan and got into CoH when it was released. As much as I wanted to like it there are too many downsides to ignore. It is very repetitive even more so than most MMOs. All you ever see are human shaped models which gets old fast. The controls are springy and loose and the PvP is only by consent in arenas and it is awful.

The single redeeming quality to the game is its character creation which is the best out of any MMO to date.

If you are looking for depth get WoW>CoH without question.

yeaaah, im only 13 so i dont exactly have the money for it, but i can scarf it together with xmas and stuff, its only 180 dolars a month, so i think i can do it, but i dont know yet, still deciding

CoH is so freakin addicting it's not even funny. CoH is one of those games that introduces something new to the mmorpg orgy, while WoW has NOTHING unique about it.

I'd say your best bet for a reasonable game is RF Online which has just gone F2P and was P2P for over a year and a half. It's really not that bad a game, aslong as you don't mind grinding.

However, you should do what I do, apply for tonnes of CB tests for games such as Warhammer Online, Gods and Heroes, Tabula Rasa, Age of Conan, Chronicles of Spellborne, etc. Then you get to play quality games for free..(atleast for a reasonable period of time anyway).

You could get a paper round (you can at 13 can't you..?) and pay for games yourself. For example, with the money you earn from a paper round you could afford WoW and be able to buy 2-month game cards when required.
