Sony Home Delayed; WoW fans rejoice for unknown reasons! (http://www.1pstart.com/sony-home-delayed-wow-fans-rejoice-for-unknown-reasons/)

Sony announced during their TGS Press Conference that Sony Home has been delayed due to possible technical issues. The new launch date is sometime next spring, and Sony wants a worldwide launch of the service. Understandable, considering it’s much like a console version of Second Life…

…without the unicorn sex.

Bad News all around. The good news however is

-The PSP store is now available.
-You can use any of the files on the PS3 where ever you are in the world via the PSP.
-You can join games your friends are playing as a spectator on the PSP.
-Metal Gear Solid 4 demo is coming to the PSN.
-Yakuza 3 shown....expect a name change however.
-Secret Agent Clank announced for the PSP. Will feature PSP connectivity.
-FF7 remake. Believe.

-FF7 remake. Believe.

Don't count on it, Tetsuya Nomura basically came out and said no.

"we're absolutely not making [such a game]" is what he said.

But, there is good news. Yoshinori Kitase was heard saying this not soon after: "As long as there are people who want to make it and people who are waiting for it, we don't want to proclaim 'The End.'"

So, I would guess it's a maybe. Because Tetsuya's not willing to work on it, but from Kitase's comment, they're apparently thinking about it...

Also, on an odd sidenote, BioWare is now starting on a new game. A Sonic RPG for the DS due next year...I found that bizarre.

Neebus, the remake isn't even 100% definite, right? That's what I heard at least, anyways none of that is on-topic.

I was actually very curious as to what this would be like, and if it would be worth even trying at all. Guess I'll have to wait longer.

According to NeoGAF and Crisis Core, it or a PSN re-release is coming. I seriously wouldn't tease "Continues in Final Fantasy 7" when getting a copy is hard as **** and even if you can, they're expensive.

Meh, I'm just tellin' you what I heard. Truthfully, if this is Square we're talking about, I wouldn't put it past them, but they've been known to surprise us in the past. :-/ (most of the time they weren't good surprises either...)

You have no idea...

The unicorn sex is just the start. It will be greatly missed in Home...
