View Full Version : How do I turn down Vista's security settings?

Hey, I just got a new comp, and it takes like 4 hours to open an installer for a game. How do i turn down the security settings to fix this?

i have 2 gig with a dual core and installers still take a long time to start.

What? When I ran my computer at 2Gigs of ram I had no wait time at all O_o. 'Just pop in the game and the installer comes right up.

I demand moderation status in effect immediately.

Go to Start > Run > MSCONFIG. Click the "Tools" tab. Click "Disable UAC" and then the Launch button. A command window will open and complete the process, restart and voila. No more annoying messages.

I don't mind the messages, but I know that some other people do
