Ironically, a survivor of the holocaust lived right next to him.
A man who survived the horrors of the Auschwitz concentration camp ended up living next door to a former Nazi camp guard in Arizona, US, it has emerged.
Nathan Gasch said when Martin Hartmann moved into the retirement complex four years ago he noticed a picture of his neighbour in an SS uniform on the wall.
Mr Gasch says he was shocked but that he never reported the incident However, investigators from the justice department were on Mr Hartmann's trail and this week the US expelled him.

I think this article shows how biased the BBC has become over the past few years in their news coverage.
With the German's being depicted as ruthless, mercyless bastards in television, film and games, I think it's time we laid off people involved in such an horrific incident which happened over 60 years ago.
