Ironically, a survivor of the holocaust lived right next to him.

A man who survived the horrors of the Auschwitz concentration camp ended up living next door to a former Nazi camp guard in Arizona, US, it has emerged.

Nathan Gasch said when Martin Hartmann moved into the retirement complex four years ago he noticed a picture of his neighbour in an SS uniform on the wall.

Mr Gasch says he was shocked but that he never reported the incident However, investigators from the justice department were on Mr Hartmann's trail and this week the US expelled him.

I think this article shows how biased the BBC has become over the past few years in their news coverage.

With the German's being depicted as ruthless, mercyless bastards in television, film and games, I think it's time we laid off people involved in such an horrific incident which happened over 60 years ago.

You know I don't know what to think of some of these people. Honestly they had a choice, do their job or die. What would any of us do if we were put in the same situation? Would we let our country kill millions of people because of their heritage? Or would we try and stop it just to be killed? Most of you will say you wouldn't be part of mass genocide, but the fact is things change when your life is at stake.

...Not unless you have a true resolve and principle and nobody to burden you down.
