Solstice Video Thread [] Xenepic Videos

Xenepic is the JP version of Secret of Solstice and I have to say it looks awesome, below are just a few videos I have collected and added to MMOBroadcast. This list will be added to, so you guys can gawp on some JP SoS before the release of our version.

Wierd Boss Event?
It appears they are allattacking a single target possibly a boss monster? Some very impressive attacks used here and I love the boss monsters AoE, looks amazing! This game is set to be a hit.

Xenepic PvP Video
This is one of the first videos I have seen that features Player vs Player combat, my first comment was "Wow, how much HP does this guy have?!". Looks pretty promising, large scaleguild wars should be amazing.

mmm,not trying to be mean,but thats what u call impressive?

first vid is like watching grass grow.
a damn lot of mages and priests vs...only god knows what. the mages cast nonstop and the healers heal nonstop.both animations are just some fire-ish and some pentagram-ish ligth effect,and the chars dont even move,they just stand still.

about the boss i cant say anything,i dont even see it...im increibly surprised u say the boss AoE is amazing,when all i can see are numbers popping from time to time

the 2º vid,somewhat better,at least the chars move a bit...but such video maybe would have impressed me 4 years ago,the first time i saw RO.not now...

I think it does look pretty amazing, amazing is probably a powerfull words but Im only trying to get people excited. I havnt really seen a boss monster with impressive attacks like that in a relatively 2d game in a while. The second is by far the best video of the two but think of the party dynamics involved in the first video, healing teammates, casting spells.

Can't say it doesnt look remotely fun?

Ragnarok does look better (Spirit Wise) none the less ill play this.

if im not wrong lunia have some cool bosses with nice attacks,but i get your point. for a 2D is ok,i guess...im not very experienced in 2D games.

the 2º yes,it shows party pvp,and thats always good. but i think the game is not my cup of tea.

Haha, good to have an active discussion and at the end of the day it all comes down to taste! Lunia also achieved decent bosses in a 2d environment which did play a part in the small scale success the game achieved so far.

I have some more videos I'm uploading now, stay tuned!

Substance

a long time ago i like games like ragnarok but now i think its enough.Its oldschool mmorpg styl and its boring in a age like this with mass of nice 3 d or cell shading games .PvP sucks in games like this (my opinion) .Ragnarok was the only one .All the other games from this styl are trash

Are you kidding? Ragnarok's PVP is one of the best pvp's I've ever seen >.>

also Dark Eden had a terrific PvP,unmatched by 95% of the 3D MMORPGs i've played since then
