Around 30-1 hours max =P:)

1-2 hours. It's not a hassle if I come home, take a break with drinks, and play on the computer for one hour. Then I practice some piano for 2 hours. I have dinner after that, and then finish my hwk. After that, I do what ever I feel like doing.
Not bad, yes?
I do my homework in study hall. That way I get to spend more of my time wasting time.

Usually 1 to 2 hours for me.
Haven't gotten anything that would make me spend more time yet...

I generally spend 1-3 hours doing homework. I have 8 classes, so we go to odd classes on one day and even classes the next. It works out nicely since it gives me two days to do homework.

I haven't done homework once yet this year, my parent will be pissed when they see my 5 week report, of course. I think I'll do my homework now though since it counts as a test :( :(

Considering I procrastonate too much, I end up having to relearn everything that was toought in my classes because I forgot the lecture. This all ussually happens a week before the exam.
I'll end up spending at least 4-5 hous a day on Calc II and the day before the test, I'll visit my campuses Math Lab for assistance on any sections I don't get.
Note: In college math classes, you ussually cover 2-3 sections a class, my 3.5 hour Calc II class coveers about 4. My Ohysics class goes over 1 chapter each class. And the homework takes forever (but it's ussually homework to better your skills, as most of the time, only the exams count)
Not2: Experts recommend that when you attend college, you should spend 2 hours for ever credit hour of class you take a day studying for that subject. 12 credit hours is the minimum requirement to be considered a full time student and stay on your parents insurance policy.

Wow. Exactly the same as me. :p
But when I do do my homework, I end up only spending 10 minutes on it. I bullshit information and write it down. Because all of my teachers grade on effort, and I already know all the stuff, so why do it anymore? -_- So basically, I use 10 minutes of my Study Hall doing homework, and then the other 50 minutes talking to my friend Drew or playing his PSP. XD

Same, they just grade if you did it. I just right random stuff down :3. But if its not for just participation then usually like 30 - 1 hour.

Well, I mean, they want to know if the information they gave us got through. That's the purpose of homework. And if we know it, why do we have to actually do it then? :-/ That's why I slack off when it comes to homework. Now on projects, I actually do them to the best of my ability, however long I procrastinated. :p

Around 3 to 4 hours of day. About one hour of Pre-Calc homework (basically just busywork, but it helps reinforce skills), about 30 minutes of French 3 homework/studying, and then about two hours of reading each night from my AP American Studies class/Honors English. Then I practice trumpet for around 30 minutes to an hour. Also I have Tennis after school for an hour and a half.
I'm a junior in highschool btw.
EDIT: All I basically do is homework/study. It took me a week to finally get some free time to play the Halo 3 campaign.

Usually less than an hour, I do my homework in lunch, in class if there's time and if there's still some left over I usually do it the moment I get home.

Grades don't determine intelligence. One of my friends got straight A's all his life, but had to look "sex" up in the dictionary. I guess grades don't matter when your parents shelter you to that extreme.

I agree. I used to get straight A's when I was younger, but now, I get F's and D's, and look at me! I'm told I'm the most intelligent kid in my school constantly by some of my teachers. O_o Not grade-wise, but pure intelligence...

I go to Liberty. Having 8 classes is nice, but having a crappy dress code is crap. We have to wear red, white, blue, or kakhi clothes (BLUE jeans aren't allowed for some reason). Still, the 8 classes thing is really nice.

Same thing for me to also!
Man I thought you want to my school I was like do I know you O_o?
Oh well anyways yeah... My school made an announcement that if we had good attendance we can wear jeans but... Why won't they let you wear jeans everyday like it's a big mishalf wearing denim blue jeans GOD!
LONG LIVE BLUE JEANS AHHH!!! >:(

Yeah that's how my school is too. They come on the intercom sounding all jolly but then they tear up any hope you had that you'd be able to wear what you want. "The attendance wasn't good enough. No jeans tomorrow."
Still, I don't think I'd be doing so well if I had only one day for homework. I can procrastinate and never fall behind.

Well, apparently, I'm a good debatist. O_o We have a lot of debates in my Psychology and US History class, and I always win. XD
But a lot of my teachers have actually told me, straight to my face, "You are one of the most intelligent kids I've ever had take this class." =O Especially my Psychology teacher, the first day I had that class, she told me to shutup because I wouldn't stop answering questions. XD
But, um, yeah. I'm done. >_>

I guess i like halfheardtly agree with you if you don't have the drive to prove it you may not be intelegient. But you could have something that interfeers with it the problem i have with homework is that i will get home and immideatly do something else pushing it to the back of my mind in which it will resurface the next day ill give the usal Crapx50 and my grades that quarter will be F,D,D,C,B,A,A >_> i want to prove it but Distractions get in the way. I tried this year to have a friend help me with it but his parents hate me so it doesn't really work out, and we do something else anyways. My mom doesn't help remind me when i get bad grades i get "we need to put you on medication again" instead of "ill help you rember to get your homework done" i want to prove inteligence but i feel that because its measured by homework the Truly smart people(inteligence wise) will never get Recognized because Tests are weighted so poorly while the dumb jocks that continusly BOMB their tests will get into harvard and Yale cause of their 3.9 gpas
>_>
@thread
I would say 2-4 hours
Well if you think about it grades really(at least through myschool) measure your ability of doing homework so the dunderheads can pass. I feel that people like me(smart and disorginized) seem lazy or stupid (more twords lazy as i get a's and b's on like every test) but get bad grades on my report card cause of HW
@Kriff
I agree so much with that but it seems grades are the only ones that matter. Iv'e been told SO many times "your not going to a good school" cause of two bad years >_>

Ahhh. School. Well! Since i lived in BC for so long, when i came back here, my french was way bellow average, so they wanted to down grade me. of course, me being against it, left school and went to adults(school for people age 16+) pretty much, its regular school, xep, no dumb classes like gym and crap, just math, french, eng. you can also take history and such for additional credits of course.
Soooo i went there, did 3 years in one, never had to do homework due to all our work being devided in 200-360page books with all the answers in the back and a small 1-2 hour exam after each, each book(wich you were given 30-60 hours to do depending how big) took me betwen 6-12 hours each, and i dint have to do any eng due to the fact i had all my classes done in it alredy, and since i did strong math it took over for all my aditional credits. never had to do homework during that year. ended with a 92% average(we dont have letter grading here) and now im studying into networking.
how you liek dem nuts.

man some of you guys do really small amounts of work.
i get about 2 hours of work a day, which is a lot less work than i had last year when i was taking AP US and english honors. this year i decided to stick to what im good at so im only taking hard math and science classes xD
for you younger ones out there, it really is a good idea to make a habit out of studying and doing homework. once you start taking harder classes like AP us and AP english it becomes a huge struggle to get by if you dont know how to manage your time. i had to learn this the hard way..

Well, when I actually DO my homework, it still only takes me like 10 minutes. Because everyone in my classes is stupid as ***** and they're the NORMAL classes...
Hell, the AP classes in my school actually get more of a break than us too! They get hardly any homework, it's just that they do more projects and learn more advanced stuff than us. It's bullcrap. :-/ I don't even know why I'm not in AP classes...it'd probably be easier for me in Science...
