Okay, first i know those are not entirely f2p, but i need some opinion.
I Boughted BattleField 2142 yesterday, Its a pretty game i must admit:D
Tho there's nearly no server running on Multiplayer, so its a bit boring here:hmm:
so i am wondering now, does BF 2 have more people that BF 2142??
I Dont care if BF2 have less great graphs or w/e, just wanna know if there is more people on it.

There are LOADS of servers.. perhaps you should try updating or changing some filters.

1. You need to download the patches.
2. Battlefield 2 has better maps.
3. WAY WAY WAY more people on BF2.

I understand lol, me to i find that BF 2142 is not like BF2. Big Mech are to powerfull and cheap. Plus there is no C4 so its hard to break into them when your not in a vehicule(well there is C4 but only for Recon and i dont love sniper lol:))

you installed the beta 1.40 patch thats why you only see about 5 servers.

well, as everyone said download a patch... that's why there are so few ppl.

www.speltorrents.se has REALLY fast torrents, i dl:ed a patch yesterday and i got 2MB/s and i always get like 900KB/s to 2,5MB/s

theres quite abit more you find on average 270/400 servers on BF214 and half are empty on BF2 you can find on average 600/900 servers of course half empty but thats still quite abit more.

...you do know that EVERY vehicle in 2142 has a weak spot?I can mow down a Mech with an assault rifle,let alone the machine gun.

Anyway what should i do to see alot of servers? Uninstall the patch??:-/

you have to change in the register on your computer then install the 1.25 patch OR uninstall bf2142 and install the patch.

BF2 is overruled by vechicles on vechicle maps and by elite bf veterans on infantry map.

BF2142 (which i like best) is more balanced. Vechicles can be wiped out as easily as infantry can.
It's also a bit more strategical.

lastly there is the matter of being newer than bf2 so you have the slight advantage of playing with a lot more new players, rather than having to take on near invincible pro players.

i have to agree with you, but i hate when the titan mode lagg.

Small tip if you want fast "Exp" points in BF2142 ... play on Knife Server :> So fast levels :P + Much more fun :P

I prefer bf 2142...why ? Cuz I love Sci-Fiction !!!!

Do You like more Modern/Nowaday war (btw. BF2 "New/Bonus" Weapons are so damn freaking ugly) ?
