well i seen alot these threads and i know it getting repetitive for you guys to do this so i say thx if you decide to help :). Anyways im just another gamer thats looking for a mmorpg to play, i tryed a quiet a few in the past and was wonderign if theres anything new out thats abit different where grind is not really noticeable or is fast ex.questing, a variety stuff do except grinding ex. jobs, graphics are pretty decent and not to childish ex. not deco graphics faces were really plain and uninteresting,atleast something unique about the game ex. having a combo system/pets/summons, character movement no point and click unless somehow thats the only flaw of the game and the gameplays great ex.keyboard arrows keys+mouse WoW had a good combination of both, and most important is the combat system like if your going make a pure grinding game atleast make it appealing and unique which sets the game apart from the rest. Im working on a game called [The Haven], there really is no grinding, any area you go to is a mission you must complete. It also doesnt have a point and click combat system, it has a combat system more similar to consol rpgs, real time combat, but within a special combat fence. Yes, thats exactly the kind of game I'm trying for. The .hack series is awsome, but there is no real online version, The Haven will have areas similar to the world R2, with a mixture of classes from R1, and R2. Check out the site, thehavengame.blogspot.com . There is a game coming out this christmas eve called The World R:2, it is a 3d game based on .hack GU, but the graphics aren't very good, I'll probably download it to get some inspiration, and enjoy an actual mmorpg like .hack. But be assured the engine I'm using will allow for much better graphics, and an interface much more like the actual .hack. It will be great!
