Well, I naver played one before and don't know anything about any mmorpg games. Whats a very good free game that has something like fighting other players, customizing your own character, and those things. Anyways, I like it to have a more of a 3D world where you can go anywhere but still have a sort of cartoonish graphics. Also, I don't like the turn based games and those where they always do the same attack moves over and over. I prefer the ones where you get to control what attack they do next or just control them while attacking. Thanks for replying..

Okay, to start in mmo world, you could start with FlyF, Guild War, Rising Force Onlie(more known RF Online), and maybe Rose online.
Cheer and hope you find one

NO! Please do not play those games! Please do not go to these forums anymore! Please do NOT read anything about "grind". You're standards will become too high and you will not enjoy any game.
Go play Runescape and come back when you're absolutely bored of it. You'll love it.

lol, that's almost true. If you started with Runescape, it would be pretty easy to go up from there once you get bored.

And it's another fact. That just about every single free MMORPG in existence, that involves any form of levelling, or trying to reach the point to get an objective. You will need to grind. Tsk tsk, it's a sad world we live in, when it comes to free MMOs. If you find any you don't need to grind, post it on the forums. People will be all over that like a sack of cooked chicken on a slimy root.

Rofl. That made me laugh :) Well anyway, MS (maple story) is indeed a good game if you haven't played other MMO's yet. Very simple, very easy. It's requirements are very low, and the sidescrolling, mind numbing monster mashing experience will also blow away your ps2 gaming experience. NOT (borat style :D)
anyway it is a good starter game, I might go join back in it. I found a comfortable refuge within the grind. I got going and I felt at home, Mash SHIFT enough and the alligators die and i get .08% exp! anyway enjoy the game.
