Hmm this is really weird or maybe I'm just stupid.. Well I turned the graphics onto full and yet they were still as bad as graphics from UT1 anddddd I still got lag? My comp isn't great or anything but I can run ut2k4 on full without lag so I don't get why I can't get anywhere near the graphics level on UT3. :(

Well trying to do 100% graphical settings on everything and 100% screen render, 1280 x 1024 graphics, they were awesome in the entire 2 seconds I saw. My comp crashed so then I bumped it down slowly until I found 100% screen render, 3 textures and 800 x 600 graphics to get decent detail with 0 lag (50 fps). My vid card is onboard so its not that great but I found that the demo is pretty cool. Wish they would've given a taste of the massive assault maps they were talking about that is their pride and joy. They say its about 3 maps large, vast outlayings of land to find tiny battles or massive clashes of people. They state these maps can hold as many players as your servers can essentially (100 v 100 :3:3) The CTF and DM offer no variety from 2004 but the assault is the bread and butter of the game, so the demo has limited what we can grade it by for the best part is hidden. But I'm definitely going to buy this game, me any my bro played it for about 2 hours and enjoyed the vehicular manslaughters (get the vehicle with the blades on the side and press [space bar] to launch yourself foward whilst decapitating about 4 people ).

but there needs to be a beter master server, there aren't alot of good servers in vehicle ctf. deathmatch i can play with 32 people 0 lagg, but then the crappy ctf vehicle with lagg bah, rather play it with sp then.

To the guy who said the graphics suck, you just need to turn of the screen render on the options. At default its like 50% so you only get 50% of the resolution, blown up to what you are trying to run it at. Turn that up and then you will see the graphics dramatically increase.

Personally i loved it, yes similer to UT2k4 but it is also good to have a nice graphics change :D
