Well I'm just hopelessly posting a ... post to see if anyone knows of a game or knows a person who knows of a game like this.

Basically where you can play the rpg element as a character and go and kill stuff, grind quest whatever. But it will also contain a strategy element of building up a castle or army to go out and conquer. Doesn't matter if its more of an rts or rpg, i could care less. Just hoping someone has a similar game to suggest.

If there is no such game, a game where you can BUILD your house (ultima's was nice) and live from there would be pretty cool too.

dont suggest heroes of m&m franchise please, already played them and meh, the random maps start to become less and less fun as you play them. Also dont suggest PW (they have a house feature, but i hate that game *leaving out details for another flame post*)

It's not out yet and I don't know or it's p2p or f2p.
But you can do many things. Build a shop with a crafter and make money.
Become a pirate build a navy and capture settlements.
Or join a clan/make one and build citys and make the economy run.
It also has WASD. It's like a whole updated RYL I think. You should try it.
Too bad it's not out yet. But if you have patience. You will be able to play it.

woops forgot to put to not mention darkfall. That thing as of right now is vapor ware to me. NO news in nearly a month and half, why would a game company go news-less while in dev. with a fan base that big? Anyway I guess this concept doesn't exist :(

The only games where you can own houses that I know of are runescape and dofus.. Yea pretty shitty..

Hmm theres a rumor it's going up next month dunno or it's true. But hey ! Seal does not let us know a lot too. And there are many seal fans. If I where you I would wait. I mean it's the best build and house game. I think....

Well there is a game called Savage. It's basically two teams going against each other. I haven't played it in a while. But for both teams, they each have one commander. The commander is basically in a sort of WCIII map building type thing. Where he builds bases and such, and gains money for the whole team. The rest of the team, is in more of an FPS / TPS view. Where they can buy guns, new characters to use, swords, all kinds of stuff. The point of the game is to dominate the other side, and destroy their buildings and such.

I already play savage, thanks for suggest although its nothing like what i mean. It's kind of hard to explain what I want, =-/. A watered down darkfall would be perfectly fine since darkfall is prolly gonna be vapor. I just want soemthing where you can essentially be a character, but then have a castle to be building or something or maybe even a house to live in and run your business out of or whatever. I guess theres nothing like this, oh well back to trickster online.

Man Darkfall is going to become a hit, If they can release the game, it's no longer vaporware.
