I am looking for a low requirement MMO/RPG for my dear laptop, whose specifications are unfortunately... low.

Her specifications:

Pentium III 840 MHz
184mb RAM
And...
Wait for it...
8mb Graphics Card (Trident Video Accelerator Cyberblade-i1)

Yes, I know I need a new one, but I'm not in a situation where I can at this moment of time!

It runs everything it needs to though, it plays games that require about 256mb RAM (min) perfectly, :]

u could play ultima online. seeing that it was made in 97 you computer should be able to handle it. as long as your connection is good.use uogateway for servers.

yes ultima online is your best bet because its a damn good game and has a low req. get mondains legacy its a free download and you should use connectuo to get to a shard. uogateways done for... it just wont work like it used to.

Well I really appreciate your effort and am sorry 2 give u this news. Well GoonZu works fine for me but as for trickster and the others I doubt they will. I forgot to mention I have only Intel Graphic Card meaning NO GForce, so many wont work. Ragnarok didnt work so I doubt Trickster and the others will.
But it makes me feel so sad to see so many MMOs I wanna play going away.....:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(...........so any suggestions?

I recommend you try the games from TQ Digital, cuz I can play them great. :]

Conquer Online, Monster & Me, Crazy Taoi, Zero3000 & EUD are you're best bet. Don't worry about their "16mb VRAM required", cuz it's not really true.

But if you really can't play, then I recommend Monster & Me, only 4mb VRAM required. =)!

Well theres nothing I can say...You guys did a lot of work for me in such lil time all i can say is thank u very much.Im checking out every single one of em now. So far phoenix dynasty online looks good....ill be downloading it......and this elan online looks gud 2 xpt website took a long time 2 load....and there r complaints saying it lags way 2 much...well i like it and will be happy if any of u guys say if its true or not(i huv 2mbps connection with 3.2Ghz and 512 MB ram)and also it looks like 3d making it look impoossible to run on my 8MB GFORCE-LESS GRAPHIC CARD WHICH IS INTEL!!!! and also monster and me looks kinda OK but it looks deserted, if u got some gud pple and frends and gud community, im in for it. i already play mixmaster and im waiting for more pple 2 join..cuz its alone and i like community play. many pple say dragon raja is like>_>:hmm::-/-_-XO>:(:hmm: so i guess......dofus i play it for now and im quite bored cuz many pple discriminate noobs(like me:-/)i will like try out conquer online...waiting 4 sumtime wen im free so i can download it....like night...dwlding in my country costs $$$$ so i gotta be careful and dwld wen its free-time. and that miao sing thingy looks atrocious 3d its like no way on my g-card. You should be able to play Astro-N (there's a post about it in the free online games section) but it's a 100mb+ download.

And some dumb 2d games - most 2d games will work just you'll have to turn everything to low.


If you like Strategy, I would recomend Battle for westnoth. Its a great turn based strategy game I play it its fun as a time waster and can be play'd on your laptop.

Ill do some searching and see if i can find any half decent games for your specs. I have low specs on my comp also so i have to play the cheaper looking games but from time to time i find a good one.

there's probably a few games for you besides the ones already suggested, but your best bet for fun games that you'll REALLY enjoy, is to get a new laptop or a new comp.

i don't think even my comp is that poor in performance, and it's from 2005!
