New mouse, new problem.

I have a Dual Scroll Ergonomic GE 5 button mouse. I have the CD to install it, but it doesn't work. It works when I start my computer, but after I log in, it just stops functioning. Can any of you help me? I really need this mouse to work...

Right click my computer > device manager , looks for the mouse and see if it has a yellow [!] , if it does , click repair.
If that doesnt work try replugging , uninstalling , ect.
Google your problem and see if other people have had problem.

i have had 12 ball mouses by them in past 2 years and all are great

Mice now need CDs in order to use them?

What happened to the good old days of Plug and Play...
