Hey. I'm planning on making a small MMORPG I call Klash of Empires. I don't have a team put together, however, I'm learning 3d Studio Max and I have the story/gameplay well thought out on pages upon pages of info. Everything involving the overall story, races, classes, you name it, I got it.

Since I'm low on resources, I plan to make the game small but enjoyable. It'll be free and players will have 2 available character slots; they will have to pay (no more than 40 cents) for each extra character slot.

Once I gather a strong team, players could expect to see updates and expansions.

Once again, I don't have much started but I have pages of core concepts, story, and gameplay. Everything! If you're interested in this project, pm me or follow this topic as I continue to update it.

Well... if you want to interest more people, post a bit more about it... what's gameplay going to be like? What are some of the skills players'll have access to?

I'm aiming for gameplay to be easy to grasp; pick up the game and roll smoothly through it. This is how Player vs. Environment gameplay will be though. Player vs. Player, which is basically Empire vs. Empire, will require players to be more competitive using their environment and certain movesets to win the overall match.

There will be 6 unique classes each with 4 techniques in which you will have to add skill points to increase their effectiveness. For example: (Not a class or attack in this game)

Mage:
-Fire Magic: 8 (points)
-Water Magic: 10
-Air Magic: 5
-Earth Magic: 7

7 Attacks:
Flare Blaze (Fire Magic attack)
Fireworks (Fire Magic attack)
Explosion (Fire Magic attack)
Solar Wave (Fire Magic attack)
Aqua Armor (Water Magic attack)
Icicle Spear (Water Magic attack)
Quake (Earth Magic Attack)

3 Bonus Items: (Instant Health Restoration items)
Potion
Eggs
Water

Player vs. Environment:
As a lower class citizen, you and other players join the King’s mercenary program. While you join this program, you are trained in the art of 2 of 6 classes and will be paid for carrying out quests and missions for the King. After completion of important missions, the King will give you a land grant within the region. You can either accept this land grant and start an empire or refuse it and go solo until you decide to accept it or join someone else’s establishment.

While working for the king, you and other players must unite your divided homeland while building up and protecting your own empire. Hurry up, unite, and be prepared for the massive invasion.

Player vs. Player
Empires consisting of Human and Non-Playable Characters will duke it out, one on one, in ranked or scrimmaged battles. In ranked battles, an entire match will have 2 rounds in which players of opposing empires will have to capture new territory. In each round, they'll have a time limit to capture new territory. If Empire A wins the first round and Empire B wins the second, there will be a tie breaker round.

Territory captured by both sides will become added territory to your empire. The only way to recapture this territory is to make another challenge with the empire you lost it to. Although a single empire may lose many of their territories, they will never fall below a certain amount, however, they won't be eligible to PvP until they purchase island territories.

There are many rewards to PvP, even though it's risky. Empires with rocky terrain can sieze arable land; empires lacking freshwater could take over territories with sapphire blue lakes and freshwater rivers. The possibilities are enormous! If you want your empire to dominate the entire island-nation, you should risk attacking your neighbors and seizing their goods.

Note: PVP is divided into two categories: Ranked and Scrimmaged. You should take ranked matches seriously while scrimmages are merely for fun and games. For ranked matches, you must send a Challenege Request to another empire and they must accept it (although they won't be able to see your ranking) Scrimmaged matches will be based on random pairings.
