Ok, so I have a 27 att 10 avoid Maple Claw. I also have a 27 att, 3 Luk Dark Guardian. My dilemma is: which one should I use? Keep in mine the Maple Claw has a "Faster" attack speed, while the Guardians have a "Fast" attack speed. Will the extra damage make up for the Guardians pitfall in Speed?

i'd go for speed personally
since the damage difference is minimal at best.

Olaph? Where have you been? Have you not been lurking at sleepywood? There have been several tests about weapon speed with mastery, levels, and booster. All of this was proved wrong (except for mages and some other facter, correct me if I'm wrong). So, obviously, now that you know the truth, go for the one that has 27 att and 3 luk. 3 luk is a big boost of weapon att.

and personally i'd go for speed over damage which was what hiboy was asking

and if i remember correctly luk does not = speed

Lol, it never did in the first place. What I meant to type up is that no matter what speed the weapon claims it has, it does not have that. So, if he would go for the faster one, then he would be attacking at the same rate as the other weapon. Now jo0 see?:3

There are a few exceptions to that.
The Red Katana (Lv 70 1H Sword) has a swing speed of Fast(4).
Most one handed swords have a swing speed of Fast(5).
With a good Red Katana, you could do more DPS than someone with a decent 2H Sword. (It's much easier to scroll 1H Swords due to their lower prices)

well if ya have booster then wewt... but personally you should try them out yourself you cant have someone else tell you what you should use its how YOU play and how YOU like the speed/dmg/mob/ etc

I was asking for others opinions. I'm not necessarily basing what I'm going to do off of what they say.


Anyway, I sold both of them and bought a 32 att Maple Claw. Makes it all better. :D
