Hey guys i'm new here, as you can tell. I've been trying to get Dream of Mirror online to work as it looks like a really cute game. I currently have (I think) the GAMANIA client and a GAMANIA account but I get an error when the client opens, 'Error ???Online??????????', i'm assuming the servers are down though knowing my luck I did something wrong.

I can't make an account over at JoyPark (won't work), let alone download their client... could anyone shed some light on this? Or has this game been released in english yet? (even better)

Thanks for any response and sorry for the newbish questions.

Sorry for, uh, hijacking this thread, but I have a question of my own.

When I first learned of this game, it was on a Japanese news site, talking about the Japanese version of the game (Hiten Online: Dream of Mirror)...

I just wanted to know, which is the original version? I ask because the artwork on the Japanese website is very different (read: much better) than the artwork on other sites I've seen. The art in the Japanese version is done by Studio A-CAT, a very well known Japanese art studio that has more recently done the artwork for the Rockman Zero and Rockman ZX video game series...

I'd really like to trythis game some time, so I'm just wondering. ^^;

Im having the same problem as Tooks right now, really strange. Anyone have any Idea how to fix It?

DX Is up to date and I have the japanese language support Installed.

Thanks for any help.

EDIT:

Found part of my problem, seems I was trying to launch It from the wrong exe. When I use the right one and get sent to the webpage to log in I get this:

Anyone have any Idea what that Is?

Edit # 2:

Fixed my problems, you have to use Iexplorer to launch It, worked fine for me when I did that.

you need to click on the desktop shortcut, or go directly to https://gash.gamania.co.jp/domo/ and log in on the left of the screen, that's how you get to play instead of executing the file in the directory. If that does not help, let me know more details and I'll try my best to help you get started.

well.... the Taiwan (Joypark) version will always have the newest patches and expansion packs. At this point the Joypark version is still adopting the prepaid card points/monthly fee account system, while JP Gamania version uses F2P cash shop to begin with. The Joypark version is going to be modified into F2P later this year too. Our strategy in the developed markets will use F2P, and we're still deciding what to use in terms of Indonesian market as well as the whole southeast asia.

The game completion, based on what I heard from Taiwan's gamers (not from Softstar's own R&D), in Joypark version it's about 20~25%, in Gamania version it's about 24~27%, don't use these statistics as words on stone. But hopefully, as more versions in different countries are released, all of them will be similar to each other.

Are you a staff of the Taiwan Softstar Entertainment Inc? Guessing it by looking your name and I am always a big fan of this company with their single player RPG series. I played the TW DOMO(軒轅劍網路版 2)a few months back then........can't remember when but almost a year ago and it was quite interesting.

You mention that the Joypark version is going to modified to F2P, is that confirmed information? since I can't find any information about that from the official website.
