Fire burns over Kaiz's former home, the Assasin's guild, yet he does not care, he does not remember them, his past long gone, his memory fuzzy, lost in a deep part of his brain, the city around him is blazeing, he does not care, he dosent even remember where he lived, who he was, or what he will become, only time will tell.

Shadow has passed over the city Kaiz lived in, a time of poverty, a time of greif, a time of war, gates to hell itself have opened, and the future is unsure, kaiz knows, that there are innocent lives at stake, and he has to save as many as he can.

a imp throws a fireball at him, and suddenly, half of his body goes pale, like the life has been sucked out of him, and a large sheild of chi bursts infront of him, sheilding the fireball, he then turns the sheild into a long spear, and returns the blow, the imp severed like butter, the chi flows back into his frail part of his body, just in time, as a shattering blow from a bemoth sends him flying into the wall, he curses under his breath as the demon starts to bring his fist down on him-

Hikara was jumping from roof to roof with her companion, a white wolf named Adlina, when she spotted a battle going on between an imp and some man. She kneeled down to watch. She blinked in admiration of his chi skills. She glared as another demon came after him right after the imp. "That's hardly fair. Adlina, you take the back, I block the hit." She mummbled to the wolf, who simply nodded. They jumped from the roof, Hikara landing infront of the man just intime to take the hit. Her wolf had the demon's neck in it's jaws.

Kaiz turned to the girl and nodded as a sign of thanks, then darts composed pureley of chi flew from his fingertips and peirced the bemoths heart, sending it toppleing to the ground, he re-absorbed the dart and turned to the girl.

"thanks, hey, can you stick with me for a while? itd be safer, im kaiz by the way" he said as he extended his arm

Hikara smiled showing sharp wolf-like teeth. "No problem." She shook his hand. "Hikara," She pointed to the white wolf that came trotting up next to her with a bloodstaind mouth. "That's Adlina. And I supose you're right it would be safer. Sure, we can stick with you for awhile."

Kaiz smiled at the girl, then turned around, a large demon was standing before him, he focused his chi into his feet to leap out of the way of the demon, and over its head, then, all of his energy focused into his fist, he delivered a shattering blow wich toppled the large demon, sending it into the ground, unfortunateley, a blade plunged right through his weakened body, peirceing his shoulder, he cryed out in pain as he desperateley tryed to flow the energy back into the original place in his body.

Hikara stared for a minute at Kaiz. The demon began to get up slowly. She blinked a few times and sent her wolf to attack the demon then jumped on top of the wall behind her, a bow black as night materialized in her hand. A pouch of arrows on her back, she took one and aimed at the demon, ready to shoot.

Kaiz force the blade from his shoulder as he screamed in pain, he flowed his chi back into the area and dodged a blow from a human-like demon, he ducked under him, tripping him over by swinging his foot around, then createing a chi blade and sliceing him clean in half.

A large roar broke out through the mans yell.
"Run!"
Yakamori was being chased by a sprite like fiend.
Name- Yakamori Wolfbane
Appearance- Wolf Man, somewhat like a werewolf. Always arched. His fur color, gray. Very bulky, wearing only a small kilt made of bear pelts. Only attack is to claw an enemy, his appearance is strong, his personality, weak.
Yakamori yelps as he falls. The Sprite Fiend brings him back into the forests which he ran out from. "Help...Help... RRAAAGGGHHH!"

Nayumi, who was close to the forest, heard the cry of help from Yakamori and tried to rush in and help him. When she arrived, she saw a sprite fiend clawing at him, trying to drag him deeper into the forest. Whipping out her Diagonal Blades, she raced forword and began sending quick slashes at the enemy. Before long, it was completly defeated. "Here you--uh-oh." Just as she was about to help Yakamori up, a swarm of demons surrounded them. "J-just great."

Kaiz held his shoulder, winching from the pain, he focused the chi into his legs to sprint off into the nearby woods, as he dove in there, he landed smack bang into a group of demons, surrounding two others, they slowly turned there heads.

"Oh, Shit." Kaiz muttered as they roared, one arm out of the picture, Kaiz swiped his arm out, createing a disk of flying chi, sliceing a few in half, returneing his chi into his body he leaped over them, and landed next to the two other people cornered in the forest.

"Damnit!" Yakamori 'roared'
Yakamori retracted his claws, and jumped at a demon. Rip after rip, blood flew, and he cried the deadliest cry ever.
"Woooooooooooooooooo!"
The demon was weak at the feet, it became dizzy, when another came and ripped Yaka off of the other. The demon took Yaka and through him to the ground with such force! Pain overtook his body. He could only think of death... No! He knew it was death. He felt chills, his eyes faded, before they closed everything muted, he dimly saw the Chi Disk cut his enemy.

Yakamori Wolfbane was unconscious.

Nayumi rushed over to one of the demons and performed a spiralling twist, taking it down with ease. She noticed another replaced the one she just defeated and sighed heavily under her breathe. Looking around at all the enemies, she noticed that Yakamori had fallen unconcious. Racing over, she managed to weaken some of the demons along the way, getting thrown to the ground harshly a few feet away from Yakamori. With a bit of effort, she finally made it to him and dragged him away from battle.

Kaiz turned to the others, signalling a 'go, ill be allright' sign, he made a blade out of chi wich materialized in his hand, and started to slash wildly at the demons, sliceing their chests, severing their heads, he started to slow down, one after another came, roaring and chargeing at him with full force, he could not continue, he was tireing out, "ive... got... to... protect... them..." he mumbled, a fist slammed into his chest, sending him into a tree, blood trickled down his mouth as a large horde of enemies swirled around him, he smiled, as he saw the others get away, he only would hope someone would intervine as he closed his eyes, and braced himself for the worst.

"Damn it, kid. Drop me. I'm old, and corrupted, I'm a wolf! Don't you get it? I only did that to finish myself! Go help him... Now! No questions!"

With those sentences came a phrase, no... a yell.
"Wooo *cough* oooo!"

Yakamori Wolfbane retracted his claws, put one to his throat, and laid back.
"This is it"

Edward turned to see the 'werewolf' who looked as he was about to end his own life, he caught his eye, the werewolf saw something in the eyes of kaiz, a silent, freindly call, as if to say, 'Dont give up, keep going.', he then shouted, "Dont give up freind! There is still a reason to hope, it may be a dream, a fantasy that we will never reach, or, you could... Embrace it."

"Keep going..."
Vigor reached Yakamori, he yelled, leaped up and retracted his claws the farthes they could go.
"Shikyo sotte Hando!"
Yaka jumped at the enemies. He was crazy, rips, cuts, slits! Blood flew everywhere, demon after demon fell. After just 23 demons there was a pool of blood. The last 2 were simply just imps, a little kick and a small impale they were dead.
All the demons... Dead.
Yakamori fainted from exhaust.

Kaiz smiled, breathing heavily, he went to the wolf and tended to his wounds, then sat next to him, gaurding his body and waiting for him to wake up, he, sadly could not move him to a safe location doe to his peiced arm, he could only hope and wait.

Nayumi was hesitant on whether or not she should help. She knew Yakamori was hurt, but she also saw Kaiz surrounded and hurt aswell.
Before she knew it, the two gave it all they got, and, in the end, Yakamori fell to the ground, unconscious.
Rushing forward, she brought out some emergency first-aid stuff to try and cure any wounds he had, but it was becoming a bit too late.
"Ah, don't give up!" She commanded, looking down at Yakamori. Turning around, she replied, "Let me cure you too."

Reamy, glides through the clouds with her airboard. As she looks down, she saw a group of people surrounded by dead bodies of demons just a little bit outside the forest but then she saw a giant demon charging from the forest towards them.
"Looks like they'll need some help." Reamy said as she swoops down to help them. As the giant demon was about to pounce on them, Reamy charges towards the demon.
Reamy jumped from her airboard as it pierces through the demon's back. She then grabbed her hammer from her back and smashed the demon's head into the ground, crushing it in one blow. Reamy took her airboard back from the demon's wounds and walked towards the group of people, removing her goggles. "You know... you guys should pay more attention on your surroundings." She said, smiling at them.

Nayumi noticed Reamy and the giant demon, which fell to the ground with a huge "thud."
"Thank you, wherever you are," Nayumi replied to the girl's entry. "Come to think of it, did any of us introduce each other?"
She looked back at the slowly dying man and the other injured man and remembered the situation. Turning back to Reamy, she asked, "I do not suppose you have some medical supplies with you? If you do, can you help me cure these two?"
She returned her gaze back at the two men and bit her lip.
What am I going to do if she does not have better medical supplies than me? Nayumi asked herself. These will only cure small wounds. I need stronger medical supplies! If worse comes to worse, I will have to try to savage some things from some of the destroyed homes.

Desctiption:A man with a dark past most of which he cannot remember. His face and his left arm have been scared by this past. Kail normally stays away from people and walks the back streets. He doesn't much like attention. He is normally seen wearing black leather pants, Black high boots, and a one sleeved shirt(no sleeve on the left arm). Also has buckels around his waste and boots(Like Final Fantasy character usually have =P). Over his clothe he wears a brown cape with a hood that covers his head and goes down to his ankles. (Not sure if I need to say weapons? He has knifes hidden in various places on his clothing.)

(I didn't see that I had to PM or anything so I hope this is acceptable)

The smell of burning bodies filled the cool night air. Kail arrived at a villiage ablazed, the closer he got to the village the hotter the air became. Faint sounds of battle echoed through the burning streets. Then out of the corner of his eye Kail noticed something falling to the earth....it looked like a human. Without the slightest emotion Kail continued on toward the sound of battle. It was not at a run or a quickin'd pace but a walk. The same speed as always.

"Ok, just a sec..." Reamy putted down her airboard on the ground and searched for medicines in her waist bag. "Let's see... i have dragon's blood, Siren's tears... oh here it is!" Reamy said, taking out a bottle with yellow liquid inside from her waist bag.
"Here, pour this into their wounds. The effects are not that fast but it'll save them for sure." She said, handing the bottle over to the girl.

Nayumi thanked the girl and applied it to their wounds. Grunts of pain was heard as she slowly let drops of the liquid seep into the various wounds surrounding the mens' body. Handing back a small portion of the liquid back, she thanked the girl once more and waited for the others to heal.

I hope this works. This one with minor wounds will surely survive, but...

She gazed at the slowly dying man. Getting down on her knees, she placed her hands together and prayed once more.

May the Gods that look down upon us have mercy on your soul. If indeed they do take your soul from this world, let your soul drift to another world that is much more peaceful and serine.

“Demon!” yelled a colored man.

Kail stopped in mid walk. The voice was familiar, he turned around. It was indeed the same man from his memories. The colored man wore shining armor that glistened from the light of the fire. A symbol of his brother hood rested on the from chest part of the armor in gold. Blowen by the wind a brown cape was attached to his neck, which normally fell to his ankles but was currently taken by the wind. On his waste he carried a long sword the hilt engraved with the customary symbols of his brother hood, also in gold.

“I thought I killed you!” Kail yelled back.
The man grinned and laughed,
“If only it where that easy!” responded the Paladin.
“Well are you just going to stand there all night or are you going to try and kill me,” Kail roared back, “Maybe you’ll get lucky this time.”
“oh and Zaick I think I can do this one on my own,” Kail said to himself.
“Fine,” added Zaick(the demon within Kail), “But you must kill him this time or he will always come after us.”

Kail ignored Zaicks last remark and jumped out of the way of one of the paladins holy attacks. Kail threw a knife in respond to the paladins attack. The paladin effortlessly unsheathe his sword, deflected it and continued the charge. Likewise Kail met the Paladins charge. Sword and dagger clashed and then the paladin lost his footing due to a quick kick to his leg by Kail. The Paladin fell on his back unable to breath for a split second. Kail grabbed the Paladins throat and squeezed.

“How can you think you’d even get-,“ Kails words where cut short. It seemed that the Paladin was not out of tricks. The Paladin tried to use an artifact on Kail but Kail grabbed the Paladin by the rist with his remaining free had, his left. The Paladins eyes widened! Kail exposed his left hand which was hidden throughout the fight in till now. The demon hand of Zaick. With ease Kail squeezed and the Paladins wrist snapped. Every bone in the wrist was broken. The Paladin would never be able to fight with his right hand again because the bones in the wrist where no just dust.

“I’m sorry Paladin,” Kail said regretfully, “I know you will never believe this but I wish you no harm. You forced this upon yourself all I wanted was to get rid of the demon inside of me but you and your brotherhood wanted to kill me instead. You said it was too powerful you could get it out so instead you sent countless people after me. I did my far share of good deeds but still you came after me, in till the only course of action was bloodshed. I’m sorry…I can’t die yet.”

The sound of battle had vanished all kail could do now is go to where it was and hope there is something for him there. He took one last look at the Paladin, who was winching in pain, and headed down the burning streets to his destination.

“You didn’t kill him.”

Hikara fell on her back as a demon swung at her. "Stupid..." She jumped on a roof top as her wolf bit at the demon. She drew back her last arrow, she shot. It landed in it's neck, but that was still not enough. "Son of a..." She crouched, ready to spring. She pushed off the edge of the roof and bit down on the demon's neck, snapping it in two. "Now... to find Kaiz." She darted off, following his scent. She stopped and stared at the group for a moment, befor walking up, unoticed. "Sorry it took so long." She directed this to Kaiz, not knowing the others. "I ran into a... road block if you will." She licked her blood stained teeth.

Nayumi noticed the girl talking to Kaiz. She seemed friendly, but obviously did not notice that Kaiz had just got wounded, not to mention the dying man by him. Sighing, she turned to Hikara.

"Hi, my name is Nayumi, but you can call me Yumi," Nayumi greeted kindly. "Can you please tell me your name?"

After asking this, she took another look at the two, hoping that they were alright. Then she turned to Reamy, waiting for her to say something too, or rather, introduce herself to the new girl (well, new to them).

A wanderer quietly walks out of the forest only to see the remains of a village. The wanderer walks quietly to the village ignoring the bodies of the fallen. He saids to his scythe "It looks like this village failed to protect itself." "Should we bring the souls of the fallen to rest?" The scythe answers "It is our job to bring peace to the fallen and to put the souls of demons to rest." The wanderer slowly walks forward until he reaches the end of the village and takes out his scythe. He took out his scythe and started to mumble some words ,but before he could finish something stabbed him in the back.

Kail turn a corner to find a group of...humans. The flams around him had almost smuthered out. However; the smell of burned flesh and fresh blood was still potent. The group of humans did not look to good. A few laided on the ground, while the others tened to them.

"Oh so now your going to help them!" said Zaick coldly.

over the years Kail had managed to ingnore Zaick. And this is exactly what he did. Kail approached the companie of humans.

((OOC: Yeah, everyone is gone now...))

Nayumi looked over to see another new person. Obviously, there were more people wondering around than she thought. When she got close enough, she grinned and waved at him.

"Hello, my name is Nayumi," Nayumi greeted once more to another stranger. "What is your name?"

Nayumi noticed the girl talking to Kaiz. She seemed friendly, but obviously did not notice that Kaiz had just got wounded, not to mention the dying man by him. Sighing, she turned to Hikari.

"Hi, my name is Nayumi, but you can call me Yumi," Nayumi greeted kindly. "Can you please tell me your name?"

After asking this, she took another look at the two, hoping that they were alright. Then she turned to Reamy, waiting for her to say something too, or rather, introduce herself to the new girl (well, new to them).


"Oh, uhhm.. my names Hikara. Nice to meet you Yumi. Is there anything I can do?"

A young girl of about 16 came up and introduced herself, "Hello, my name is Nayumi. What is your name?"

Kail stopped advancing toward the party of five. Kail looked at the girl from the darkness of his hood. She had comforting blue-green eyes and two ponytails which almost made her look humors to Zaick.

“Lets rip her heart out,” Zaick replied greedily, “I mean look at her…yumm.”
“Be silent!” Kail yelled under his breath hoping not to alarm Nayumi, “You can call me Kail.”

Kail looked around seeing the signs of a massive battle, demons most likely. Why they attacked this town was still a mystery to him.

“What happened here,” Kail asked outloud.

Nayumi looked curiously at Kail. Her dark bown hair flowed freely in her two ponytails as she observed his peculiar behavior. She watched as his eyes dilated in shock, as though hearing something that only he could hear.

“Be silent!” Nayumi heard Kail yelled under his breath, “You can call me Kail.”

"Ah, nice to meet you, Kail," Nayumi grinned warmly. "Didn't you know? I guess the story of this place does not travel far. Well, long ago, the village thrived with lush plants and tons of homes. Kids would play around joyfully in the open forest while the adults went about their daily lives. It seems so long ago, but that is only because it felt like a dream...no, a nightmare. Darkness emerged from nowhere, a greedy beings known as demons appeared and slowly lured unsuspecting prey into the forest. The children of this village were vanishing day after day. The adults finally noticed and decided to go after the beings that were taking away their kids. However, the demons grew stronger, and decided to battle with the humans. Since the village was so calm and peaceful, mostly everyone was too weak to do anything. Hatred and fear filled the whole village as people died one after the other. That hatred and fear grew into a massive flame that engulfed everything, killing so many. Those that survived either died shortly after that or lost their memories. I was one of the few lucky ones. You see, I went on a trip when this occured, and returned home after an urgent plea came from here. When I found out that my parents -- no, almost everyone in this village died, I decided to explore to see if anyone was alive. It took me a long time, but I found Kaiz here, and --"

Nayumi cut her sentence off as she looked over at the other man by the name of Yakamori Wolfbane, who had not spoken in quite awhile. She knew Kaiz had fallen asleep, but the other's breathing grew quieter and quieter.

"Oh no, please tell me he is not dead!" Nayumi thought with horror. "Even if I cured his wounds, if his spirit is gone, then all I did was save his shell...an empty, lifeless shell. NO! What if he died while I was talking!?"

((OOC: Sorry to explain the story out like that and what-not, but Kain has not been on for quite some time, and I do not want this to die either ;_; ))

Hikara glanced over to where Yumi was looking, "He's not dead yet." She said looking down at Adlina who was leaning against her leg.

Kail listened to the story but then Nayumi cut her sentence short. Kails gaze had fallen to the ground, trying to image what took place, but rose to see what had caught Nayumi’s attention. He followed her gaze, with his eyes, to a wolf type man…almost like a werewolf. He looked in bad shape, most of the party look that way. Kail knew he wasn’t going to be any help in healing people.

“They’re definitely going to die Kail,” Zaick replied in his uncaring tone, “Let’s get out of here.”

Kail yet again didn’t pay any attention to Zaick, he knew he was somewhat right though. In the past Zaick has used tactics like this before, trying to get kail agitated of angry because then it is easier for Zaick to get Kail to do what he wants (hope that’s not too confusing :) ).

Two humans where still conscious besides Nayumi, whom he just met. There was a female with some sort of board, possibly the same thing he saw dive to the earth on his entrance to this now dead town. The second person was also a female but this one had a wolf companion. (hope I didn’t forget anyone)

“Don’t be worried about the wolf Kail,” said Zaick.

Kail smirked sometimes he’d forget that Zaick and his mind where one, Zaick could heard his thoughts as if he was talking to him. Kail stepped forward,

“I am sorry I wish I could help but I am not a healer.”

((OOC: Wow, Kail and Zaick are like split personalities in the same body? Like, Zaick is like a blood-thirsty demon anf Kail is like a gentle-hearted warrior who can be fierce at times? Reminds me of an anime I watched. Hmmm...not DNAngel...not Air Gear...eh, I shall ponder this... ))

Nayumi glanced up and realized she had been daydreadming. Her mouth flew open, but no words flew out. Instead, her seagreen (bluish green) eyes grew pale and light as her pupils dialated with shock and horror. A quivering finger pointed at a tree behinds Kail, in which was shaking. Suddenly, a giant black bird appeared across the sky, its coal wings hindering the sun from view. It had viciously sharp fangs that glimmered like a bloody moon. The fangs dripped with the oozing liquid, as though the beast-like bird had just devoured a prey. Beady red eyes dotted from person to person, a sound like a howl, chirp, and laugh escaped its mouth. As soon as its pupils grew into thin, black shards, the demonic bird swooped down, ready to attack someone.

((Indeed they are good deduction Iokuri =P. I’ll try and clear things up if this RPG goes on ^^ I hope it does cause I like this character…I’ve started writing about him. Oh no someone already did it in an anime!! ;_; ))

Kail was struck hard after the look Nayumi gave him. A horrified look coming from such a sweet looking girl would scary any man. Kail had no time to gather his feelings, a loud screech came from behind him. He spun around to face its source. A giant bird creature flew towards the group at an alarming speed. Kail glanced back,

“They just got done fighting a huge battle,” Kail thought to himself.

“A finally…” replied a familiar voice.

The bird-Beast swooped low going for the weak prey first. Kail couldn’t let this happen he ran toward the beasts target. To get its attention Kail pulled out two daggers, for throwing, and shot(bad adjective I know) them at the beast. The daggers sunk eagerly into the flesh, the beast shrieked and missed its target. Before Kail could make the finishing move the bird flew out of his reach.

However, in Air Gear, Agito and Akito are split personalities in the same body; Agito will slice you up into little bits if you get on his bad side (lol) and Akito is so innocent and cute that I thought he was a she at one point (well, won't go into that right now >.<). Still, I think yours is somewhat original :p ))

Nayumi saw Kail flicker by, daggers soaring through the air and into the blackened bird. Almost howling, it tried to fly up higher to gain more momentum, while Kail tried his hardest to catch it before it grew further from the ground.

"I can help!" Nayumi said as she leaped in the air. "Two-sided Blade aerial attack!"

Nayumi flipped high into the air and combined the two blue poles so that the center had a clear orb within it. The untainted, shimmering, silver blades swiveled in the air as she whipped it around her body. She felt her whole being spiralling like a tornado at the bird as she held her weapon out. With luck, she managed to slice right through the prey, the bird breaking apart slowly at the middle of its stomach.

"Yes, we did it!" Nayumi chirped cheerfully. "Huh, that was easier than I thought. I wonder--"

A claw sped downwards and ripped through some of the skin on Nayumi's back. Startled, she tumbled forward, glancing back with horrorfied eyes. Not only was the bird still alive, but it seemed to be regenerating. Still, in that small amount of time, Nayumi saw an intrument hovering within the body of the demonic bird. Wincing from pain, she quickly stumbled over to the side where Kaiz and the unconscious man were. Her vision was getting blurry, but she still had some of the medicine from before.

"Kail, it seems like this is a regenerating bird using some kind of device so that when its body is destroyed, it can recover in a heart-beat," Nayumi explained, her voice drifting a bit. "In order to defeat it, you have to slice at its stomach and find a floating object that will glow whenever the bird needs to regain its composition."

Nayumi could not take the pain anymore, her face growing pale as her eyes fluttered close.

"I can't fall asleep!" Nayumi thought as she felt her consciousness fading. "If I do...with these...wounds...I could..."

((OOC: So basically, Nayumi attacked the bird, it recovered, she told Kail that the device hovering around the stomach area can kill it completly, ans is hurt on her back. :p ))

Watched what was happening from a tree she had climed. Damnit (parden her french) I don't have arrows. She looked at Adlina who was crouching next to her. They waited until the bird came near and then the pounced, each landing on a wing. The bird crashed to the ground, but shortly after threw Hikara and Adlina off and was back in the air. Hikara cursed under her breath and glanced over at Yumi. She ran to her as fast as she could. "Yumi, what can I do? Don't sleep now, tell me how to heal you."

As Kails hopes of ending the battle quickly began to fade a voice shouted from behind him, “I can help! Two-sided Blade aerial attack!.”
Seeing this girl flip into the air astounded Kail. After all she’s been through she was still able to fight! Nayumi revealed two blue polls, which seemed to have sharp ends at the end, and combined them into one. Kail just stared as she whipped the silver blades around her body. The blades seemed to shine without the need of light. Like a tornado Nayumi succeeded in slicing the bird in two.

Just then Kail noticed something shimmering in between the two half’s of the bird. The sun shone through the split in the bird, it was hard to see but something was definitely there. As Nayumi came out of the spin and began to descend to earth she chirped cheerfully,

“Yes, we did it! Huh, that was easier than I thought. I wonder—“

Nayumi was struck from the back by a claw which ripped her skin.

“NO!” yelled Kail as he stepped forward to help Nayumi.

“Stop! The best way we can help her is to kill that beast!” said Zaick agitated, “Have you forgotten everything? Look at the beast, its regenerating. We won’t be able to just rip its head off. Tho that would be fun… ”

The bird began to descend once again. This time it was diving for the injured Nayumi! Kail sprinted into action, leaving dust and ash in his wake. Due to his speed his hood fell off his head revealing a young man’s face about in his late twenties, with short brown hair that was stretched in all directions. Thought, that was not the surprising part. The left half of Kails face was not human, but that of a demon. His ear was pointed at the tip and little spikes/needles extended from it (the spikes/needles don’t just stick out they all point back words…hope that makes sense I just didn’t know how to phrase it =( )). The red scaly demon skin extends up the left side of the neck, the cheek, and extended to left eye also. Instead of being dark green like his right eye his left eye was a rotten red with what looked like broken glass in the red. His pupil faded from black into a purple abyss.

Kail jumped into the air and punched the bird, as it was a few feet away from its prey. The punch from kails left hand sent the bird off course and smashing its face into the hard ground. Its momentum helped the body of the bird slide 8 more feet. Using this time to his advantage Kail ran once again to the side of the beast. Using his left hand yet again Kail ripped off one of the wings to get a clear shot at the belly. He had to act fast because the regeneration was already working with the beast unconscious. Kail thrusted his left hand into the belly of the beast and started moving it side to side in search of the artifact.

Nayumi felt her eyes shift towards the approaching Kail, when suddenly, his hood flew off his head by a sudden wind. A young man with short, messy brown hair sprinted towards her. She began to move her lips, as though to utter something, when her seagreen eyes widened like tiny moons in the night sky, swarming with water from the sea.

"Kail?" Nayumi felt her voice drift to the rate of an innocent child. "Why...?"

"Could that too be another demon?" Nayumi suddenly realized after her voice trailled off. "What if it tries to kill Hikari or perhaps...me? After all, we are the weakest ones here, besides the two unconscious allies. Wait, what if it tries to take the lives of those that are awake, gazing at us with twisted eyes?"

She tried to lift her body upwards, but her back sent shots of pain throughout her being. Long, dark brown strands of hair concealed her eyes as they wavered in a sudden breeze. She then forced her body against the tree behind her, feeling another sudden rush of pain spreading upwards. Blood trickled a bit through small indents on the tree, yet she was still conscious enough to keep her gazy on it...

Removing his hand from within the belly, Kail successfully retrieved some artifact indeed. Kails hand was dripping with stomach acid, eating away at the outside of the birds flesh and places where it dripped. Yet Kails demon hand was not hurt, though his brown cloak sleeve was being eaten by the acid. Kail gave his arm one hard thrust down to try and fling the stomach acid off. The artifact seemed unfazed by the acid.

“hmmm, magical?” Kail questioned to himself, “probably the bird could regenerate, to be sure we’d need an expert.”

“what is she staring at?” grunted Zaick.

Kail looked up from the artifact, his eyes met where Nayumi rested on a tree. Still standing by the fallen bird Kail was unable to make out her expressions. Using his free hand Kail pulled up his hood and started toward Nayumi.

Reamy could only watch as the three fight the giant bird for if she leave the two unconscious guys alone, they might get attacked too. She watched as the man took out an artifact from the bird's stomach but just stopped with that. Reamy then started running towards the bird.

"Move!" She shouted to the man as she threw her hammer to his direction. The bird suddenly opened its eyes and lunged at the man. Luckily, the hammer hitted and crushed the bird's face before even it's claws made contact to the man's back.

"Ahh... I thought you guys know how to kill these things..." Reamy sighed. "After taking out the artifact from a bird demon, it'll still have one more life." She continued. Reamy notices Nayumi's wounds and took out a bottle with green liquid inside.

"Here, pour this on your wounds. It doesn't heal wounds but it will ease the pain for awhile until we find a safe place to stay..."

Nayumi watched as Reamy came forth to give her the greenish liquid. Before she could raise her hand, Nayumi felt her lips fling open.

"It is here," Nayumi muttered under her breath.

All of a sudden, the ground started to shake as the barely lively trees wavered a bit. The sound of a huge beast was approaching, followed by a tremendous roar. Then out of the bushes appeared four glowing, light yellow eyes, like the moon in the sky. There were two eyes on each side of the creatures head, the second diagonal from the first was a bit smaller, and they were all almond shaped. Sharp, blood red claws stabbed the earth, a foul odor escaping from its darkened moth, aside from extremely yellow, scattered teeth and a bizarre, purple tongue. The body of the demonic beast was entangled within tree branches, which twisted around it like brown snakes.

"I will come for all you humans when the sun is at its darkest hour," The bizarre being announced, nearly killing all plant life with its breathe. "As for my name, I am known by my prey as the 'Demon of Death.' I hope all of you will make a fine meal, but if not, your screams will be music to my ears."

The Demon of Death then vanished from sight, but the stench and indent of where it was last gazing down on everyone was still present. Nayumi could only stare in horror, completely unaware of Kail's facial features. Everything was silent for a bit, before Nayumi moaned a bit. Her eyes travelled downwards, concealed by compressed eyelids as she remembered the pain in her back. Nayumi tried to reach for the healing liquid, which had fallen out of her grasp when the Demon of Death arrived, but once again her vision was getting blurry. Scanning the horizon, she noticed the sky was sinking into a sunset.

"I will come for all you humans when the sun is at its darkest hour," Nayumi repeated in her head again. "After sunset? No, it has to be...midnight."

((OOC: Myahahah, more fighting >_< no no, we get a while to rest, but I am afraid of this RP losing its luster :O ))

When all seemed to finally calm down Kail heard a steer behind him.

“Behind you!” cautioned Zaick.

Acting on instinct Kail reached into his cloak, with his free hand, for a dagger. Then something Kail and Zaick were not relying on intervened. A large hammer found its way into the birds’ skull, killing it for the last time.

"Ahh... I thought you guys know how to kill these things..." Reamy sighed. "After taking out the artifact from a bird demon, it'll still have one more life."

Kail turned to meet his savior and was about to give thanks but before he could the ground began to shake! A loud roar followed, before Kail had time to make accusations if it was an earthquake. Kail diverted all his attention to the trees because that seemed to be where the commotion was approaching from. The stench almost overpowered Kail but seemed to overcome it enough, though if a battle did break out kail would have a hard time focusing.

With that the Death Demon left. Leaving Kail a little worried, there seemed to be alot of demon activity.

“You know him?” Kail said to himself.
“I don’t know every demon that that ever lived you know,” Zaick replied harshly, “I lived in the very bowels of hell! This is a surface demon…he couldn’t be all that powerful or I would have heard of him.”

Still Kail was uneasy. There was something about that demon, could it really just be a demon. With questions arising and battle scenarios all going through his head Kail hurried back to the party members that remained conscious. Hopefully they had a plan.
