ok i got gmod v10 but i dont know what games i need for it to run, i have css,dod, and hl2:death match installed, but when i install gmod the hl2 stuff dosent show up or the tools can someone help me out? i wanna play it offline.>:( O_o -_- :(

you basically need Source SDK. which you can get through steam if you have ANY legit source based game

Gmod 10 is stand alone. It really is not that hard the figure out on the count of the fact that you paid for it.

If Steam LET you buy it, then you should really be able to play it, and meets the reqs. If you haven't bought it... Rofl at you.

well when im in game the tools and hl2 models dont show up along. my friend sent me it so theres ethier something missing or im to dumb to install it right. idk , no i didnt buy it i got it from my friend idk if bought it or not , so sdk is only other thing i need? ;)

hl2 deathmatch isnt the same as hl2.

Try going to www.garrysmod.org and downloading addons for whatever you need, the main ones are phx, wiremod(Get the svn version from www.wiremod.com) and gmow but theres lots more you can get.

Yea true...Thats why you should download SDK Base ! -.-

SDK Base - All basic models, props, shaders, textures, etc etc are inside !

You can't use Gmod for HL2 if you don't have Half life 2, and deathmatch doesn't make it work, BUT you can play online with CS:S

And yes, get Source SDK, and plus, with Hammer you can make your own maps ^_^

I have Garry's Mod, and I can tell and confirm that Garry's Mod is a modfication for HL2. If you don't have HL2, you can hardly play it. DM won't do any good because that's BASED on the HL2 core.
