Both look pretty interesting..Wanted everyone's opinions on them.

Which is less grindy, and better in your opinion?

SOTNW as of now is better.

Alrighty cool, thats the one I had already started. I'm kind of liking this 3-character deal...its different. Different is good. =)

when i was playing it most people (including me) would just go in a mid level area and alttab out.

come back a few hours later and your a few levels higher.

its rediculous.
the game could of been great but they messed up.

SOTNW. I like the gameplay. and actually there is 41 unique characters + 6 basic characters u can recruit into ur team. Best graphic, and music.

Weakness: many afk players, so the community/chat is pretty dead. It's like playing single player RPG.



It's very grindy tho, otherwise it won't be called MMORPG :P


EDIT: and Shaiya. The game is pretty short. the world is also pretty small. I don't like the skill and the leveling/grinding style.

I don't know, I'd say SOTNW if you like to solo and Shaiya if you want a more standard grinder with race war.

I would prefer SOTNW than Shaiya.

I played Shaiya for like 10-15 minutes. I got bored. lol.

SOTNW, I stayed for months (The singapore version that is when it was F2P, then P2P for months, and a few days ago it changed to F2P). I wonder if my character are still teh same lvl. hmm..

SOTNW - great game and music is superb , but mad afkers and non helpers.

I prefer shayia. Cuz it have low lvl pvp and nice system for party.(mage need defender,defender need mage,mage and defender need healer)

SOTNW is way better. Shaiya is grindy after lvl 20 I quit it and play SOTNW now. the graphis is awesome and u can afk exp if u want :DXD

if you afk the whole time in SotNW/GE you probably wont have enough cash to buy equips, so afking is only when you spend some REAL cash in it (either legal and illegal, if you get what i mean)

SOTNW by far. Shaiya is cool and all but if had to make a choice I would go with SOTNW. Your choice on how you want your gameplay to be.

Looks like I'm sticking with SotNW then. I don't mind soloing, usually I prefer it, so AFKer's don't bother me. Its pretty fun so far, I have 3 of my guys up to level 13, and 2 UPC's in my common room or w/e its called.

I agree that SOTNW is way better than Shaiya. At least in Sword Of The New World you can use skills without fear of it being interupted by a hit or something.

Both sux, but if I had to I'd choose Granado Espada because it has nice music ;p
