It's the same thing they do to all Monster movies.

They never reveal the monster, they want you to buy a ticket.

So you could see it and be dissaponited.

No only the beginning is during the trailer you see them down in the subway and he says
"Our options are to die in the street to die in the sewer or die on the run" Or something like that. Also i wouldn't classify this as a horror movie its seems to me more likely an action film. Lots of people are speculating the monster is gonna look like Godzilla and there have been many supposed "photos" of the monster in which there is no light and no monster at all. I'm looking forward to this movie

It doesn't look half bad then again I Haven't been to the theaters since Oceans 13 I'm going to wait for it to be on DVD =D.

Bad Robot is their company name, if anyone watches Lost you'll remember that logo.

I think it'll be cool because of its setting. Its modern and you're perspective is that of one of the people escaping from it. How cool is that? Also because of that, you'll probably feel more attached to the characters of the film, unlike those dudes in King Kong I didn't really care about.

If the monster really is THAT BIG, then the Statue of Liberty should not be standing, the whole thing should be gone!!!!

and second, at the size, if it did crash into the city, then there should have been one or two of the three things should have happened:

A lot of the icty should be grounded, but if you look at the movie poster, the crash site still has builidings
A crater should be where the crash site is, but there has to be no building in the crater area, but there are buildings, and so there cannot be a crater
A blast of wind should have blasted through the city, but if you saw the trailer, there was no such thing, but there were fireballs




There could be a way for only the head of the Statue of Liberty to be knocked off, but that would mean it would have to go super straight, and not crash into the city

Theoretically speaking there wouldn't even be a monster thats about to attack the city would there? So it's best not to theoretically speak about a fictional movie.

I chose to show you guys that certain picture out of another one which I'm about to show you because it was more detailed as in size comparison. Also I chose the one of the massive whale because it had more back up and had more popularity.
