The savage 2 beta is going on from now to January 15. I believe you must've already have made an account to play it. But the game is going to go on sale January 16.

Well Savage was pretty good. But then again, chances are Savage 2 is way to complicated to learn in 4 days.

There is actually a FFXI private server in development, but since it's illegal to talk about that, I won't tell you. (+ it has to be private ofcourse)

If we're thinking of the same server, it's legal, however it requires you to already have FFXI and have an subscription.

It's more of a public-made server than anything.

God FINALLY, ever since I saw this announced I've been shittin bricks for it, Savage was seriously my favorite game, I pwnd so hardcore with the Tier 3 beasties.

You don't need to have a CD key to make an account. The account isn't linked to your CD key. You enter the key during installation and only for the full game. The account is just for statistics tracking.

NOTE: On the create account section, choose the activation method as "Pay Later"

"Creating a Demo Account will allow you 5 Free Hours of online play after the game demo is released. After the trial period ends, you will be required to purchase an account to continue online play."
