No. If you do that, the Internet Police will come to your house and arrest you.

If you're intending to make games like WoW, or guildwars, No matter how hard you try, you wont achieve it, Firstly because, your age.. Secondly. I swear, even if your parents were to combine their money to pay, its still not enough to get a server engine and all the stuff you need..

But if you're intending to make a 2D game out of playerworlds or stuff, Its gonna be worse then runescape alone, Even if it were to be better, 2-3 players will come to play your game, within 1 month, they'll go.

Unless your gonna do a big project on games, don't do it this age, Plus.. you'll need a transalator for chinese/malay/japenese, or even english.

Dude, he's just a kid. o____O

Good luck making a game. Start with a simple 2D engine like PlayerWorlds(google it) then work your way up. Making a good MMORPG takes a lot of hard work, a full fledged team, and alot of time. Good luck have fun. :D

im not sure if u against people with long sig.... not quite understand ur post.... but if u against poeple with long sig...... why are you one of them???

im pretty new here.... and i see many people with long sig.... in some forums they restrict people from having long sig.....but this forum guess not.

im not here long enuff but i already feel like im the oldest in here.... im a young asian man age 21... 22 in july 2006 and i like a finnish girl from finland... i talk to her all day all night no sleep no eat on msn. anyway seems like youngester alot here.... so i would like to request that we should keep it G i mean have respect and be nice to each other. also i notice teenagers is the age of hype.... the age of discovering curse words and addicted to using it. my 15 year old neighbor starts put make up at age late 12.... she talk all ghetto with curse words... and she even say nigga to her mommy.... and everything gotta end with b$%ch or nigga.

anyway about the long sig..... in my own personal opinion.... i think long sig is not ilegal..... its all up to the person if they theyre consider-ate or not.... care about others or not....

sorry didnt mean to off topic.... lets get to the subject..... at age 13 thinking to make a game... tahts very impressive indeed.... i think u will be a successful person when u grow up.... u will be smart and make alot of money! dont give hope on ur dreams! u can start researching on how to make game now and when u grow up and graduate high school u can go to college and learn about making games! onc eu graduate in a game school.... u can apply and join some of the game developer company! but if u want the game to be your own idea..... i think u can start ur own game campany but i believe its gonna cost alot....

Welcome, god I've been saying that a lot lately. Whats up with all these friendly new members? Anyway a lot of the members here are young like theres a member that's 11, I myself am 13 but I only turned 13 last week so I guess I could be considered 12. Most of us are around 11-15 then theres 16 year old members like FabiaN and Roon who gets a lot of crap for being in like his 30's. The majority of us are young though.

Nope. There's one thing you can't. Actually 2. Kyle's face from Pure Pwnage and CP.

And anyway, to make a game, you need the following: extensive knowledge and experience with C++/whatever language you're going to make your game in. If it's 3D then most likely C++. Anyway, with that you need to build an engine. Or you can borrow one. Then you need to create your graphics, your lighting, your voices, sounds, music, animations, etc., etc. Games are made by teams of up to hundreds of people (most times less, depends on the game).

You cannot create, from scratch, such a complex videogame (let alone an MMO) on your own. You need funding, education, experience and just general know-how. A lot of patience is also required.

I would recommend trying something out in Visual Basic, Turing, or Python. Those are some fairly easy languages to learn. Turing is not free, but I believe the other two may be. Now, I'm not sure if those will give you any insight on real programming, but it will give you a basic idea.

Good luck nonetheless.

EIDT: And for the record, large sigs piss me the hell off. I run on a 566Mhz Celeron. It's a bitch loading bigass sigs. And you have to realize that there are people browsing the forums that might run on 56k. So keep your sigs within the max, which is 500x500 pixels.

Search google for RMXP
its not meant for online play
but there is a project to make it online
it'll be realased by the end of summer i believe
so.. I'd go with RMXP and not playerworlds or something like that ;)

Making a game is a lot of work,
and if you just want to start out you dont need to learn coding,
to make a game with playerworlds or rxmp, but you do need to learn how to use the systems.

I'm tired of your people coming on to the Internet yelling that a good game needs hundreds of people, Your Wrong. The average number of people working on a game at a time is around 50, and main it's the big companies or popular game companies the hier over a hundred people. The truth is, if you get enough people with varied experience in a set of skills, and a lot of patience, you can create a game, and even an mmo.

As an example, I'm working on a 3D mmo in my spare time, and I'm the only person doing it. I must admit that I am doing it in Director (has 3D engine built in and web based technology), but the actual set up of the game and gameplay (ot to mention server) has to be hand coded and thought up. Give me a couple months time, and I should have an alpha up. Now yes, it will not be an mm and it will not be the best graphics, but its the gameplay and story that counts; graphics are always a bonus. And the the truth, when companies higher all of those extra people to make a game, a majority of them are there purly to work on graphics.

Find an engine that works best with the language you know best. I would recomend for beginers who are serious bout developing a game to find a good engine that has its on codeing language, such as Director MX (shockwave) or the Torque Engine (a lot of professionals use this, but I'm not quite sure its mmo capable). [My $.50]

Note: If you go with normal codeing, visit gamedev.net for help; otherwise, make sure ou choose an engine with a large developing community, like Director, Torque, RPG Maker XP, all of those top notch software. Remeber, if you want a really good developing engine, you may have to spend some money, unless you make it yourself.

Ok. First off, (not to be mean) everyone needs to first learn how to spell and puncuate their sentences. It just took me half an hour to just read this thing. I don't mind mistakes every once in a while, but at least make an effort.

Second, who cares about others' signatures? That's not even a part of the topic. Get off it!

Finally, Making a game does not require money (unless you can't find free servers to host it on, then it does), a 100 people, or being a certain age.

A game needs skill, enough people to cover all the parts needed for the game (more thatn 4 these days), and patience (I believe someone mentioned that, actually). Skill is the most important. Don't immediatly start on your game (I know you want to), instead start on smaller projects and work your way up. You will also have to choose though what niche in the game process you wish to fill. For the best results in finding other people, go with programming. This is for two reasons:
1) People for some unfathomable reason take them more seriously on these matters.
2) If you look around, you can easily see that there is either a shortage of them or they're all hiding.

Good Luck!

Actually, in all technicality, an mmo is any game that runs with more than 1000 people on the server at a time. The amount of bandwidth required to support that amount of people could (key word) cost some one a lot of money. However, he can create a simple orpg (much like the Dungeon Siege multiplayer) that could support up to 50 people that could cost him little or no money.

Buddy,Lemme help you out.If you really wanna make a game you have to stick to it start out small. When I mean small I mean not a game.First of all choose a programming language.I myself reccommend C++ since I do know it.Don't waist your time trying to mess around with those gamemakers and such they are a waste of time to tell the truth. At the end its gonna be crap usually.A game is not easy to make.A simple mario game takes thousands of lines to work correctly.I love the fact that your interested in programming.I myself am only 14.I have learned C(a waste of time),C++,Allegro, and some SDL.Through my 2 years of programming I have learned one thing.Never try to big becauses at the end you never finish.I started out with a project called minifighters.I had everything up and running.Basic movement some collision detection and all ,but the fact was I was stumped on the Artifical inteligence and the fact that i saved over the file.:p
Good luck bro Hope my post contributed to your needs.

Don't waist your time trying to mess around with those gamemakers and such they are a waste of time to tell the truth. At the end its gonna be crap usually.

I would love it if once, JUST ONCE, a hobbyist programmer who shot down game makers could actually show me an amazing and completely custom game they programmed. The thing is, they can't. And the reason is, a good game isnt dependent on what you use to make it, its dependent on what you make and how much time you put into it.

There are quite a few game makers out there that are completely open ended, meaning anything can be programmed with it, and you can make it as custom and awesome as you want. But heck, even RMXP, an RPG-only maker, could make a great game if the storyline is good, the graphics are custom and spiffy, and if the battle engine is given a few innovative tweaks.

Whats important to note is, games arent made overnight, even if a game maker is used. It takes a long time to make something special. The reason game makers get their bad reputation is because games can be made fast, which means not enough time was put into them, which means they come our crappy. But sometimes, people seem to forget that just because you program your game from scratch doesnt mean it defaults to awesome upon completion. Programmed games can be utter crap as well.

So lets not forget, programming languages and game makers are tools, and you can't blame the tools for the poor product. You have to blame the carpenter. ;)

Well, I'm 13, too. When I was 10 I started using RPGMaker due to lack of programing skills. I still lack them  lol go to google and search RMXP or RPGMaker XP. If you want a more outdated ver. of RPGMaker for any reason, search RPGMaker 2000 or RPGMaker 2003. If you want to make a fighting game rather than a RPG, search MUGEN or M.U.G.E.N. If you want to make an MMORPG, search Playerworld(s?). Keep in mind, these are all limited game-creation programs. I'd say out of all of them, the one that grants you the most freedom would be RPGMaker XP, because of its script engine. You can make some basic scripts along with just using the engine for some unique things. I would search for a tutorial for any of these that you plan to use. It took me about a month before I was able to start making a game on RPGMaker 2000. Have fun XD Hope I helped

Not true. RPGMaker produces some really amazing games if you take your time with it and have advanced knowledge with it. M.U.G.E.N. is pretty good too, if, once again, you have advanced knowledge with it. Look at Naruto M.U.G.E.N. that game is pretty good.

Finally, I find more people who understand that a great game is not determined just by better utilities but by the gameplay, story, and overall appeal. If you read my earlier response, I too know only basic programming and 3d development, but through the classes I take at my college, I am slowly learning to improve my skills. Untill I reach that grat level of Game Dev, I still put my faith in programs that allow my creative side flow through, with out the intensive knowledge of code required.

wow, this is one loooooong topic.Lets see what to say...
First off, before you even start thinking of making the game you NEED yes NEED to have a rough plan of what type of game you want it to be.
Wheather that be mmo,rpg,pixel,2D,3Detc.

Then you have to have an idea of your storyline and style of play. Some ideas of characters and how you will make money out of a game is also a good idea.

http://www.freewebs.com/theaksterplayer/goodtobeevil.htm

This is my rough idea of the game i wish to create.I prefer to type all my ideas up so i have a good plan of the game i want to create.

An important thing is DO NOT take your names/ideas off other games. There is a little thing called copyright and stealing! (not to mention law suit)

After you know what you want to do and HOPEFULLY know some sort of programming tool/code.It is a good idea to try and make a demo version of the game or to make some screenshots before you really get into the project. This is mainly to get people to join your production team and start to get some free advertising on your game.

After you have all that you can start making your game and hopefully along the way you will run into some game developers/grafix designers that will help.Remember it takes time and effort to make a REAL good game that can turn into some niiiice profit.

Just some guidlines from me :)

and yea TYPE ENGLISH FOR GOD SAKE. u r not txt msgin.

np just sayin that its the quality and content of the game that makes it good, not the tool(s).

That's so true KC. Just look at the original eldar scrolls game, looked like crap (even in those days) but damn was it a great game to play.

@TheaksterPlayer, creating a demo of the game would be a good place to start if you want to attract others to join your team. This does require one thing though, skills with graphics. Which is where I run short. I got some great ideas for a MMORPG but I have zero graphical skills. My skills ly in the actual coding, not in making it look good. So, while this might mean I would be able to make a game, I wouldn't be able to make a demo without the help of at least one or two others.

further:
An important thing is DO NOT take your names/ideas off other games. There is a little thing called copyright and stealing! (not to mention law suit)

Hey Wassup? I Saw Your Thread About How You Wanted To Create A Game. Nice That You Are Trying To Do This At An Early Age...I Was Around 13 When I Started...Now I'm 15 And I Run An Online Text Based Game...Demon Scar(It sucks). Anyway...I Suggest That You Try To Learn A Programming Language...And STAY AWAY FROM PROGRAMS LIKE 'RPG MAKER' or 'GAMEMAKER'. They Do Nothing But Stop You From Learning Real Programming.

May I Suggest That You Download Justbasic
( http://www.justbasic.com )

You Will Get A Very Good Introduction To Programming That Way. I Then Moved On To Another Programming Language, 'PHP'...Its Great For Browser Based Online Games, However Graphics Are Hard To Incorperate, As You Can See In Demon Scar ( http://dedge.awardspace.com ) Php Is Not Ideal For Graphics...However I Am Proud Of My Battle System :P

In One Of Your Posts, You Asked For A Site With Alot Of Game Creation Resources...

http://www.ambrosine.com

...Its A Nice Site With MANY MANY MANY Resources. Stay Away From The Point N' Click Ones Though..Bleh

I Hope I Have Helped (Visual Basic Is Great For 2d Games I Here...) You May Contact Me Via Email At

I Hope That Maybe One Day We May Work Together On A Game

Once again, we have a hard coder; in the sense, someone who rejects game designers in turn for coding. Once again I strive, it's the content and gameplay that make the game good, which may or may not be possible by the codeing. Although codeing is important, many people in the game industry use editors developed by other people. For instance, the torque engine is in a sense a game builder simply because it has its own laguage that does not support other languages. Not satisfied, the Torque engine is the game engine used in Tribes and is still used by major companies today. In the game industry, there are 3 types of positions; developer, designer, and design/develper. You can be one without the other.

You don't need to know much code if you have a great imagination to create great games.

Now when it comes to choosing a game editor, choose one that is well coded and has a large comunity of games behind it. RPG maker and Game maker are great begining choices. Then step up to the Torque engine ($100) to have fun with an engine that has its own coding.

The problem with choosing a language like c++ or java as a starting game dev, one will spend weeks or months just trying to learn enough code to understand what needs to be done to create a simple game. One could take years to learn enough c++ to create a really breath taking game.

One who takes the career field will understand that the choice of a gamemaker for his first couple of games is always excelent. But after which, if someone still feels the desire to continue with game production, he should start to learn coding, all the while practiceing his game design skills with game makers. Once he reaches his career pont, he should have attained enough skill to enter the field as an educated game dev.

In short: One should develop both coding and design skills; however, one could learn one field while knowing only the bare minimum in the other field and still make it out ahead.

Hehe, I Know What Your Saying...And I Do Reject Rpg Maker...But Not As Much Gamemaker..I DID Say It Will Waste Your Time...But Thats It "Your" Time He Said " i want 2 make a mmorpg that people will like plz may i have some materials like a list. " Although In The New Versions It Is Possible To Have Online...Its Not Gunna Be Enough For An MMO. I Did Not Say Anything About Torque...And A Big OOPS. I Love Torque...Mainly Because It Does Have Alot Of 'crap' To fill Up A Game With, Plus A Pretty Useful Language To Edit Things With, And If I Wastn't Cheap, I would pay $100 For The Indie Dev. Lisence And Never Say Another Word.

But How About We Come To An Agreement-

Learn A Simple Programming Language 1st, I Mentioned 'JustBasic', But 'Pascal' Is Good Aswell. Alternatively You Could Get A Program Like Gamemaker and Start Learning Basic Things Like How You Would Have To Structure A Game...Plus Gamemaker Has A Language ( GML I think ), And Last Time I used It, I Was Impressed. Or Both ( :P ).

Then, Once You Have Understood The Basics Of What It Takes To Make A Game, Plus A Little Programming...Try The Demo Of Torque...Or Buy It. I Would Have Nothing Against A Game 'Builder' As Long As It Has A Languange, And Some Way To Incorperate Online..erm..ness...Onlineness.

There, ncyfe, Have We Come To Atleast A Close Agreement *NOTE: I Have Nothing Against 'Builders', I Like Going To Thier Sites And Playing The Games Created With The 'Builder'...But He Said MMO...So I Said That They Would Waste His Time...If You Post A 'Builder' For MMO's, I Will Never Again Diss A 'Builder' (When Your In Earshot). But I Do Think We Both Have Something In Common...We Hate People That Discourage New Game Developers By Saying It Takes 100's Of People To Make Any Game.*

NEVER LISTEN TO THOSE PEOPLE!

Best Regards,
Tim (I Got Tired Of The Name Brandon)

There's nothing scary about any programming language. It's all in perception. If you feel more comfortable learning a simple language, so be it. Just learn any language. They all give you the basic principles of programming, and therefore useful for a future in it.

Hey, i learned my programming from a class at a local highschool. they make it seem quite easy, well the one i went too. It was cool, and at the end of it all, we actually had a online adventure game we could play. Now, i could never do that again but:p if i triedm to do it on my own, id have a much better understanding. so thats what i reccomend

Sorry Dedge if I sounded flamitory, I have a tendency to loose control of my words and sound a bit overberring. Yeah, I just replied my thoughts there and then. I don't like it when people diss the easy developer engines like rpg maker, but I say free for all to those engines that built to be used one way (aka, no "easy" scripting)

In note to that, I'm refering to engines specifically built for general game dev. I'm uilding an mmo, like I said, and I'm trying to make it as dynamic as possible so that I could release the entire engine free for lesser noob devs to run their own space adventure. But it is clearly a bonus, not the purpose of the engine.

I too took a computer science class in high school, not to mention that the UIL that year changedthe official learning language from C++ to Java. I had nightmares with that class. Not that I had trouble but the fact that my old school had a "You signed up for the class, you can drop it" policy (long story) and most of the people (do to a not so descriptive listing in the classes paper) though it was a typeing class. So I'd sit there, work all finished, waiting for the rest of the class to spend 3 more classes on the same topic. I blew everyone away. I never did get to learn the good stuff, because I was limited by my "peers". (notice the exageration)

So, now in college, I have to resort to learning C++ from begining, but do to a certain lack of interest at my Community College, out of 3 campus', my comp classes are in the on e furthest away.

Back to topic: I always tend to leak too much info.

I Can't Believe I Forgot This! Build.Your.Own.Net.Dream (BYOND)

Its A Great Program (Free) With A Strong And Helpful Community, Tons Of Tutorials...And Now To The Point-

-Easy To Learn Programming Language
-Whole System Built Towards Online RPG Development
-Use BYOND To Host Your Game
-2d...Not Just Text
-Other Good Stuffs...

Its Nice, I Suggest You Both Try It....

And Hotaznrice, There Are Tons Of Free Game Development Tutorials Out There, You Just Need To Focus On A Type First, We Could Help You Alot Better If You Pick A "Game Builder" / "Programming Language".

Or Even Just More Exact About The Type Of Game...2d? 3d? Is It Gunna Be Run Directly From Browser, Or Will You Have To Download A Client? We Can Help Alot More With More Information.

A 3d Spaceflight MMO Is Gunna Be Different Than A 2d Side Scrolling MMORPG, And So Will Require Different Tools/Tutorials.

I Hope I Am Being Helpful,

With all due respect, there is really no "how to make a game with c++" on the Internet anywhere. And the classes I'm taking ion college are programming classes and eventually a class that discuss's the idea and philosophy behind game design. There is no tutorial or class that guides you through the steps in writing a game and learning code. There are, however, tutorials out there that teach what methods and program techniques you can use to create a simple game. I know this because I stumble across them every so often.

From what I've read (pages 1,5,6) a lot of people believe that C++ is like god and everything for making games. Well, I agree, a lot of games made by C++ are good. But not all games are made in C++. Besides, C++ isn't all about making games so you basically learned most of the language (wasting years of your life, maybe only months if you are good) and are only doing one part of it. It's not that useful to learn C++ if you just want to make a MMO.
All you have to do to make an MMO is have some knowledge in scripting, creativity, and some friends won't hurt. You can hire people :/, don't forget that (they could be working for free, as long as your game turns out fabulous).
BYOND is a good 2d game maker. You should use it if you want to make MMORPG. Most Byond games are mmorpg.
Gamemaker is a good 2d/semi-3d game maker. My friend uses it and his games are pretty good (just you need to learn winsock and all that stuff...). He even made some pretty good 3d games. (not released but one I've played is multiplayer).
Then there are more advanced programs that isn't hard to learn and isn't all for gaming. For example, you can learn Flash (the thing I know xD). I'm making FMA online right now and it's turning out pretty good. 12 days and 134 users (site's down right now, so is game, but here's the link: http://fmaonline.kawanda.net/). Flash isn't a hard program to understand, once you learn it (it'll take you a day or two to understand the codes then several month of experience with it to make single player games then later on, multiplayer games). Flash, as many people think, isn't for MMO. WRONG! Flash may not be able to handle connections from user to user but there are a) plugins (like smartfoxserver) and b) flash media server to support online connections. (I'm using SFS, really simple)
Then there is Java. If you want 3d MMO games, it's either C++ or Java. True, Java isn't the first thing you'll look to use when making a game. (There are many reasons too...) But Java is an easier, more compatible version of C++, so in the end, you're doing it a lot easier. I bet some people are thinking, but runescape's made in Java, look at that gfx(!), it sucks! etc etc. True, it kinda does suck (lol...) but it's all in the modeller. C++ 3d models can suck too if you have a horrible modeller :/.
So, to wrap this all up, use Flash+SFS or Byond or Gamemaker or something. People saying, learn C++ are ___________ and should understand that C++ isn't something you learn right away. Yes, so isn't Flash or Byond or Gamemaker, but those are more for the presentation while C++ is more for the backend programming. (Well, so is java, but it's easier xD)

P.S. You should stick to the first choice of programming. I suggest Flash xD. And btw, there are smart people out there that can make games when they are 13. You remind me of me xD. At 13, I was making single player games, I'm 15 right now (well, just turned). best of luck with your game!

In opposite to Exceed, if you want to make an MMO with flash, don't persue, unless you already have the software. I would recomend shockwave using Director MX. Director does so much more than Flash and can even import Flash files and run them as its own. I, like I said earlier, a using the Shockwave 3D engine (which flash has no 3d) to develop an mmo, and it's turning out great.

Whatever Flash can do, Shockwave does 10X better. The only exception is load times and price. Flash loads almost instantly (because the file sizes tend to be smaller, "hint" "hint") and Director costs more because it can do more.

Not to turn this into a war, so lets continue.

(note: I'd give a link to a site with screens of my game, but I'm not far enough into it to make a site for it. Sorry.)

Yey for fellow young computer Nerds!!!111Shift+one!!!1!

Anywho I'm 15 Been thinking about making a game since i was well 8 >.> But i sucked at programming then, But i did manage to make "SnowBall" with a little stick figure that could throw snow balls around a randomly generated world with a minimap and a backpack holding snowballs u could make snowballs and if u made more than u could hold u would form a little pile of them on the ground for later use  anywho

MMORPG eh? I'm workin on one too its a head scratcher at parts I got my networking "base" done so i can add messages and they will smoothly flow accross the net like little butterflys...*going too far*

Back to the point...

Yey, I dont have many materails for u but if your looking for a cheap 3D Modeler google Milkshape its pretty good its 15 bucks so minimal costs for good models Cant say its the best but it works =D. Blender's good too if you can fight their GUI and get used to it, I personally prefer my windows GUI so i dont use it... Try taking a peek at some of Andre' LaMothe's book his latest Tricks of the 3D Programming Gurus isnt so good but he has some oldones which even though the code is outdated really help. He also has game specific books which i havent looked at too much but the RPG one is on my wish list, infact i might buy it today but thats besides the point...

Massively Multiplayer Game Develpment by the CHarles River Media part of the "Game Development Series" explains the insides of a MMORPG to a point.... Some of its is just rattleing on about the same darn thing though:mad:

Hope that helps some but keep workin yey for us n3rds!

AGREED! Well im 13 and just started C++ and finished making a 3d javanoid game. I suggest that you get anim8or,a book on C++, a book on game creation, get Driect X(direct X9 is out for free) and learn. Thats what im doing. Ok, first things first. Use real words and grammar. I can almost understand the sentence you just spouted, but not quite....

Anyhow, age is a meaningless ideal people like to inflict on others to try to discourage them from doing something that'll possibly perform better than whatever it is they themselves are doing. Sometimes this is done sub-consciously, sometimes not.

The only limit is the capacity of the individual.

In addition to that little thing I said way back about learning languages and all... I suggest you learn C#. That language totally owns! :D! Well, learn some Flash and Perl then try C#. (Yea, me and Flash, I know.)
The thing is, I checked out a mad nice tutorial on making 3d games in C# and it has opened my horizons to one of the best program (Visual C#) ever made! IT OWNS!
I'm learning C# right now and I'm doing a sorta self-teaching kinda thing and it's working out pretty nicely. I'm learning a lot of things pretty quickly. And btw, to do 3d in C#, you'll need some really good understanding of 3d and precalc (with vectors and all). I didn't think it'll be that hard to do 3d, I underestimated it in my last post.

Tell me anyone that is 13 and uses trigonometry, linear algebra, and other high levels of math.

Me, my brother, and soon my sister, many people from my school.

Don't think just because you can't doesn't mean we can't.

I'm taking calculus next year, so... what does this mean? I'm 15.
My brother is taking multivariate next year, and he's 16.
My sister is going to be doing trigonometry soon and she's 11.

There are over 300 other people in my school that'll be taking precalc next year (sophmore) and over 50 taking calculus (BC, don't think we're dumbasses and take AB; but then again, I don't think you know what AB and BC are).

//edit: left this one guy out...
He's 1 year younger than me, he's going to be a junior (he skipped 2 grades) that means he's 14 and becoming a junior. He's taking college math already. (In our school, the sequence is: Math A (end of it, trigonometry and proofs), Math B, Precalc, Calc, Multivar, College Math [your choice of what you want, AI, fuzzy, etc, etc]) So, last year, WHEN HE WAS 13, he took Multivariate Calculus. And guess what, Trigonometry is in Math A, he learned it, Linear Algebra is in Precalc, he learned it, and it's a high level of math.

Okay, so, now what? You got proof.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not meant to offend anyone. Just showing to hamik that people are able to do things just because the majority can't. It just pisses me (and cj shadows) off when someone says something like that.
