Hi all.

Ever since the new patch came out, I've been having a problem with MS.

I log in fine and all. I'll be a couple of minutes into the game when all of a sudden my screen will turn a different color and go into a crappy graphics mode... as in I cannot read a single word of text. I wouldn't be too concerned if MS was just red, but it's like watching a youtube video. I thought it was fixed today when I logged in again, but it turned red. and when I alt+tab out of MS or close it, my screen's normal. it's only in MS that I have this problem.

does anyone know what's wrong with my MS?

I made a post on sw.net (because I really want to play MS, duh). click HERE (http://www.sleepywood.net/forum/showthread.php?p=4787778#post4787778) for link. the quicker I can get this solved, the better... any ideas people?

(oh, and is sw.net lagging for anyone else currently? it's the only site I lag on right now. x_X)

Well obviously its ur Graphic card...or what i would do is check ur Graphic properties :rolleyes:

Yeah, since the last patch it's been quite glitchy for some people. I my brothers PC it reboots:rolleyes:

what i recommend to do, that solved it for me would be to uninstall and reinstall, or go to your program files where the maplestory directory is and dbl click the settings icon and press yes to which one works for you.

Yea, Sleepywood.net is laggy for me as well...x_x;; I thought it was only me xD but as you know, sleepywood is always flooded, so whatever...
I think you should just uninstall and redownload...if that doesn't work...then iono, sorry can't help you.

I doubt it because he said that once he Alt+Tabs or Exits out of maple, everyting is back to normal.

rebooting my comp didn't work, so I tried the MS setup to test my screen but that that didn't work either.

I had originally already uninstalled/reinstalled MS but it didn't work. however, this time when I did, it apparently works. must be something in the patch that's not/there in the full MS dl.

WHOA..THAT...IS...SO...COOL...but, have you tried playing like that? or...check your graphics card..and DL the latest directX version...i had a similar problem...with the screen black-ish...and i got a directx9..and it worked fine O_O...

nah, it's alright piggy. problem solved. played MS for like an hour today. =P gained a measly 4% cause I was fooling around too much.

and nope, I couldn't play like that at all. the text was impossible to read. =(

The new patch makes your computer reboot simply because he's trying to hack. Now even the undetectable cheat programs are detectable :p

Get a new graphics card or new drivers?
