Which maple story class should I be?
Take into consideration too, my friend will be leveling with me, he is going to be an assassin. I am thinking of spearman, but I am having second thoughts? Any sparkling ideas to contribute, onrpg?

I think we need a little more to go on then just "Pick me a class".

We need to know what styles you like, if you like the magic, the physical, the range.. What type of leveling, if you want pure damage, if you want an evened out char..

Yeah! I read the whole class description things, but it still kept me stumpted on what I wanted. I really think the best addition to that reading is to add multiple peoples views on the different classes, so you may get 10-30 peoples opinions on what they see the classes as rather than just a single, professional, standerd review.

Sorry, I dont know what you're saying. But if you're just going to ask what class to be and not give me anything to go on, I'll just say "Go for crusader". Fun, easy to level in the beginning, amazing damage, cool weapons.

how are warriors easy to level in the b eggining they are ksed pretty much 20-4x and training is diffucult. The two classes that level fast early are assassins and mages o..o

I found all the warriors I've made to be easy to level.

Everyone can have their own opinion. Leveling my spear man (Currently 46) wasn't hard at all. If anything, IM doing the ksing. The only time I get ks ed is with 5x+ sins and haste and crap. So yeah, its not difficult at all.:)

It comes down to fundings mostly. Everyone here either started with a warrior or mage. I'd say start with a mage. They're easy to level till 20, and then you'll have quick access to KPQ.

For your first character i say go mage. My first ever character was an icemage and was hell fun, and strong. Mages are strong through 1st job, 2nd and 3rd as well so its all good.

A mage would be your best choice if you want to go with a even class. Amazing in the beginning and a solid class throughout the game.

Go mage since your friends going to be a sin you can party together and train easily since your both ranged so you can train in areas suited to ranged classes.

Also since this is your first character your not going to have fundings and mages are practically self funded and are fast lvlers and will outdamage all classes from lvl 1-30 then you will balance out with other classes or get outdamaged. It happens >.< .. All sins my lvl out damage me :hmm:

After that I suggest you become a cleric or i/l. If you go cleric you should go with the party build and not adding any points into holy bow so you can party with your friends n people. Or i/l since you get an AoE early so you can mass kill stuff for cash and maybe fund another character later on if you find that mages arn't your class

Anyway hope that helped.

i say go cleric so you can heal your sin friend if he's training you

Dont forget the little guy, Bowman/Xbow very hard to train in the beggining, but once you get to level 70 and get strafe they are arguably the best class.

My Xbow is easy to train, I trained one without 2x exp from 30-50 in like 3 weeks only playing 2-3 hours a day.
