found this as an announcement from OG planet. Apparently their already speaking about open beta and close beta characters will be wiped but open beta might not so lets keep our hopes up stay tuned into their announcement boards for all u ppl who didnt get in

That's right, with such a short Closed Testing schedule, the time is not long before Open Beta begins! There will be a wipe of statistics during the closed beta test. As for the Open Beta test, there may or may not be a full wipe depending on the severity of bugs found at the closing of it. But the chances are, If you earn your stripes in Open Beta - you keep them!
