I just thought that this would be a fun topic to start. Basically, you just list all the things that would make Maple Story funner for you to play. This is not a "wish-for-something-that-Nexon-is-never-going-to-incorporate" thread, and it is not a "I-hate-this-game" thread. Just have fun with this. Being too serious will result in a permanent ban. And I'm serious. I have Olaph locked in my closet...

For me, Maple Story would be funner if:
Kamilla would stop kill stealing me
I could kill steal Kam even after she stops kill stealing me
Ryok could stay in my bed...
Ala played in Bera. I haven't been with him for a while.
Andrew's pig Carl would leave its master for me
RideBMX could leave Ludi
Zeanion would level me at HHG1, while kill stealing Kam in the process.
Spammers didn't exist
People could spell.
People would stop judging me by my clothes. My afro, purse, and pink shoes are perfectly sexy. Thank you very much.
People would stop arguing over idiotic things. Learn to drop a subject or say that you're wrong.

2. If there was PvP.
3. If there was monster raids like back in beta.
4. If we could run.
5. If we could have acrobatics implemented. (flippage action plz)
6. If 60% scrolls changed to 80% and 10% scrolls changed to 50% :)
7. If it didn't take so many hours to level up.
8. If there was a common sense test before creating a character.
9. If it was possible to change class and reset SP and stat points.
10. If there were more skills instead of spamming your class skill until the next job.

-It worked on my PC and not restart when I boot it up
-It worked on my PC and not give me Blue Screens.
-If they gave it like 10x exp rates.
-Seriously, the grind gets to your fucking head
-It's crazy, but the cute monsters draw me back
-Then they kill me and I lose 10% exp
-Then I cry
-Then I go through all that again
-It's a vicious cycle.

1) GM's were actually doing something.

2) 1337 speak was ban-able.

3) I agree with the "Common sense test" before you create a character.

4) Buying NX in game was legal because not everyone has access to paypal and nx cards.

5) More people came to windia. </3 so boring.

6) People would stop bandwagoning and making hermits just to KS people.

7) People learned how to spell and not type like they had a god damn seizure on the keyboard before they hit enter.

see but you'd hit the max level relitivly fast and the game would loose all fun, while i agree maple needs a better curv this is just absurd as grind is what keeps us playing(in a manner of speaking its really the strive to get the next job :D)

Especially the monster-killing lag, where the monster I reduced to 0HP stays there, blocking the way, blocking my attacks, wasting my Lucky Sevens, and maybe even attacking with energy missiles. >_<
WTF, how hard would it be to implement that? You already got the EXP from the monster, but it's still there, blocking. :teeth:

It'd be cool if it picked up the items you CAN carry before trying to pick up the ones you can't.
And if it displayed the name of the item you couldn't pick up.
Very annoying when foreground obstructs everything, or when tons of other drops obscure everything, and you're not sure if the item you can't pick up is a 10% scroll worth 2Mil, or a red potion.

"You couldn't pick up 10% scroll for claw attack.", now, that's a message I could watch every day. :3

If there was a trade system like on Runescape. Screw you, whoever says it sucks.
Once a monster is hit by someone, they are the only person who can hit that monster from that point on, up to a limit, like after a minute.

If there were skills better than +(useless amount) defence for blah amount of (short) time.

If people would stop being such asses and invite people, even low levels, into their PQs.

If people would come to frickin Mardia.

If you could buy a pokeman for a pet! xD

If people stopped underestimating warriors

If people stopped thinking so highly about I/L mages and luckless assassins. Well, not so much as STOP, but don't put them in the seat of 1337 hardcore-ness.

That's an awful lot of complaints, I'm surprised you're still playing.:eye:

Maple would be better if..

1. Higher exp rates, highly doubt this will happen knowing Nexon.
2. The Pirate and Gunner classes were added soon to kill boredom.
3. There were less money grubbing people selling items at ridiculous prices.
4. GM's held events more often for people to get Maple points.
5. Using a high level character to ks newbies in a low level area was bannable.
6. There were no scammers, spammers, hackers, or idiots. (you know who they are)
7. The ride to Ludi/Orbis/Leafre was only a 5 minute ride/wait time.
8. Different items that made making a regular stat character worthwhile to play over a low/no (insert stat here) character.
9. Better throwing stars had higher level restrictions, 'nuff said.
10. Take out or lower the mastery of the obviously useless skills so points aren't wasted.
