Just to clear up the whole Anime thing up: ANIME is dirived from the katakana word ANIMESHON, which means, yes, animation. So Anime can be made from anywhere, not just Japan. Manga is the same as well.

The series has probably been in production for quite some time, maybe even before Trickster came out. So I don't think the world is going anywhere. :p
