i have a old computer. it sucks. but it is mine in my room so i can download things onto it. so its all good. here are my computer specs.

COMPAQ PRESARIO S6100NX (its a crappy desktop computer)

cant run halo trial with detail on the map.

can run wolfstein enemy territory with no trouble at all.

try to keep the download really small cuz i am in my top floor of my house. (my wireless router is wayy down in my basement. (takes forever to get 5MB's downloaded)

I have a router in my basment too but at least it's not wireless :\

If your internet is slow, I don't suggest playing an FPS

The compaq i had , had a FX5200

bought it way backkkkkk and it could play any games ^^ on low though lol

As long as game is using peer to peer system (p2p, don't read it as pay to play) It will lag ... ALWAYS. You can't fix it. You will have a good connection to player#1 and player#2 but for example player#3 will be a LAG master, wich means... He will own you all, or you will own him all the time (50 % of chance).

i will try soldier front again to see if it lags still
