well, ive gotten a bit tired of mmorpgs. so i thought i should invest in one of those wellknown single player ones. and then i recently found out that most of those games ( DMC, Dreamfall etc.) are pretty cheap. so i thought of trying Dreamfall... but i cant decide which to choose and which one is good ( my experience with single player are bad)

any help?

Go with Oblivion. I've played for 40 hours and I have yet to get anywhere in the main story. It's amazing.

nah i didnt like the witcher. oblivion is fine. but i still wanted something different. and here i see games like DMC and Dreamfall, but are there others?

How has nobody suggested Fallout or Fallout 2 yet? They're a bit older, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a better single player experience. Just remember, they really do earn the "M" rating.

Also, the Gothic series is still a very good game, despite the fact that Gothic 3 does not even come close to what 1 and 2 established.

You should try fable, now that there was a fun single player RPG, you can be good or evil and the customization is pretty fun to.

never played them, i had an old buddy that was crazy about them.

Im downloading DMC3 right now too :D.

I tried Oblivion, but it just wasn't my game. It seemed too slow paced and it took forever to get to places.

Ive yet to try the witcher :o.
