Funimation Films is releasing OP The Movie 8 in theatres, so I'm going to see it tonight. It starts in about two hours, so I have some time to get the directions and have a quick bite to eat. I'll tell you guys how the movie is when I get back. :O

I just got back, and I have to say it was pretty good. Considering the Alabasta Arc was 50+ episodes long, they just cut right to the action, so it was at least entertaining. Be warned though, if you haven't watched One Piece, or you're taking your friends that don't know what OP is, then you're going to have no clue AT ALL what's going on. They also left out some great characters like Igaram and Ace, but that's about it.

I know I could watch it online, but I wanted to support Funimation just because of the great effort they're putting into One Piece.

I want to see a movie on the Water 7 Arc, or even better, a completely new story! LOLOLOL What a concept. ;p

Isn't there already a 9th movie? And you won't see a new story until you see it in the anime first, apparently the movies correspond with the anime.
