Ellaborate.I know a lot of you guys aren't listeners of hip-hop because most of it now is watered down mainstream bubble gum rap with sugar. But Lupe is a real artist, and you guys should give him a listen

He's decent, I just don't like his flow. It doesn't really all click to me.

"Kakonk Kakonk Kakonk, his neighbors couldn't stand it so he was banished to the park. Started in the mornin wouldn't stop till after dark..." *Chorus
Kick Push owns. I remember when I heard on the premeire of him on Kanye West's song Touch the Sky and I thought he sounded so weird and it'd would never catch on. Then I saw Kanye tongue Pamela and I knew anything was possible.

His mixtapes are better.
It's a shame he's living in the shadow of Kanye, someone...crap. It's even worse that he's apparantly trying to be the new Kanye.

Yea Lupe's got a better flow than Kanye.Kanyes style and flow ain't even his.If you go listen to "Grammy Family" from DJ Khaleds album, then you'll hear Kanye and consequence have the same flow.
You couldn't really tell who swagger jacked who.But in XXL magazine they did an interview on Consequence on his trips to New York, meeting 50 cent,etc..And he was saying he was tired of people stealing his style and flow.
Coincidently Lupe,Kanye, and Pharrel Williams are making a group called "Rebel Child Soldier" Though no projects have been made.I got that from Wiki.
Also did you know, that I heard a line In "Touch the Sky" where Lupe made a referance to Lupin The 3rd Anime "Uh yes yes guess whos on third,Lupe steal like Lupin the 3rd"
Lupe is so ill,he killed every gangster rapper, dancer rapper, pop rapper,w/e BS rapper there is out there on "Dumb it down" lolz.He wasn't targeting anyone BTW.

There are much greater and artistic hip hop MCs out than Lupe, especially now he's trying to be Kanye Jr.
I definitely recommend his mixtapes, and Food and Liquor wasn't too bad of an album. Kickpush was definitely a nice track.

Yea,I'm gonna go listen to this guy called "Immortal Technique"
You don't know how many times I've been on youtube seeing this guys name on the comments either in someones top 5 list or saying something like "I like Immortal Technique better" so yea I'm gonna go listen.
And as you can see by my avatar,I really like Common.Common finally gets his shine on these last few years. His last five albums have all been certified gold and/or platinum by the RIAA.He wasn't for the public eye until now.Of course I don't know because I didn't know common in the late 90's early 00's.
I like "Go" which the guy saying "go!" in the background is John Meyer."Testify","The people" and "Driven me wild"

Immortal Technique is pretty awesome.
He's usually the MC that is the gateway to better, underground MCs for people who aren't familiar.
Common is amazing.
I suggest Cannibal Ox, MF Doom, Cunninglynguists or Eyedea and Abilities if you're after something different.
