Uh... first of all, never call another player a noob, it discourage them from playing a game.
"Noob" doesn't means low leveled or inexperienced. It means someone who won't try to learn the game, usually a jerk that thinks he knows everything.
While a newbie, is someone who is new to the game, but, he/she is willing to learn from other players :)

Yeah, there is a difference between "noob" and "newbie."

Like mentioned, a noob is a person that can be of low level or high level. It is not the knowledge and strength in the game that determines a noob, but the knowledge of the game itself. For example:

Player level is 60, male, high ranking knight. He goes around slashing at monsters, appearing to know the game well. His name will be Joe. People around Joe will be a Healer named Loli and a new player named Xevian (I do not know, I just made the names up).

Joe: Ugh, this is so BORING!!!
Loli: What level are you?
Joe: 60, but I got some people to keep leveling me up while I paid them with the items I got in battle.
Loli: Well, did you ever try fighting for yourself?
Joe: No, that's dumb! This whole game is stupid and retarded. And it takes so long to level. It sucks!
Xevian: Quit being a noob!
Joe: What?
Loli: He is right. Even a newbie like him isn't as much of a noob like you. Try playing the game for yourself, and stop bashing the game!
Joe: Whatever, this game sucks...

END!!!

As you can see, it would be someone who comes out of nowhere and starts talking about the game in a bad manner when they did nothing to try to understand it. Even people at higher levels can be noobs. Newbies, on the other hand, are not always noobs. They are just new to the game, and can have a firm understanding of it (possibly researching ahead of time or having a friend to help them out). Hope my example helps. Any critisism can now be made :p

Yeah, first hand experience in Flyff :x
I based it off of someone who just started playing Flyff and said it sucked, was corny, etc. :p

Of course I was acting like a noob at the time too, but only because most of my friends (all except ONE) abandoned Flyff and I was a bit depressed that they still had abandoned Flyff :(
Oh yeah, and I did this because the text won't go small ;_;

^o^ SMILE SMILE <-- RANDOM :O
