I would give LOTRO a try. I haven't played it but considered moving from WoW to it, and apparently alot of people have. Either way, it has alot of questing/instancing I believe.

i liked the gameplay in Talisman online.

hmm you can try dungeons and dragons online.....lord of the rings online.....those are the only 2 games you really see people rp in

I second NVM, soley based on Wolf's descriptions of his campaigns.

And honestly, few popular MMOs have any RPing whatsoever any longer. WoW's RP server are pathetic. From both I've played in, General chat was flooded with 133t speak and penis convos.

NWN2 way better than NWN1

Sad as it is, roleplaying is dying. Children today don't appreciate any form of literature, all my friends don't even 'read'. Idiocy is common amongst youth, not that roleplaying will make you any smarter. But everyones to busy trying to be 'cool', instead of just enjoying themselves.

Regardless, NWN 1 is good. I play on a server called the The Silver Marches, if you interested let me know and ill show ya the server. Good community, fun, well populated. And the DMs are active enough to give quest to larger groups.

gaia. online. must resist strangling myself with my intestines. I have guild wars, the community is about as smart as the gum I scrape off the bottom of my shoe, but LOTRO looks good. And as to the other poster, I doubt I'm good enough to bring RP back to the masses, especially in the free games I can download, or even in guild wars. See above statement.

Sometimes I recruit a few of my friends into games and we roleplay just with each other and otherwise ignore other players. Otherwise, your limited to your choices of games, sorry. RP is dead.
