I pre ordered mine last week at blockbuster. Every other pre order place was SOLD OUT OF PRE ORDERS. Which scared me, because I live in a little TINY nowhere town. I asked my mom to get it for me for my 18th birthday...I hope I can have it as a pre-present. I don't wanna have to read about all you guys having a great time and be left out. >_>

I don't care to pre-order it, I'm not handing them extra money for a game I can find very easily. You just got to know where to look.

A lot of releases are limited which means a store can only buy a limited amount of copies.

Can anyone guess how many characters going to be in brawl?

No pre-ordering for me. It's not going to kill me to wait a month for a game, especially when I have many others I have to finish. :p

Well the problem with wifi would be the small delay, it might not be a real problem but still.. We can only wait and see.

However I can tell you that from my experience Brawl isn't as fast-paced as Melee, this might not be true as I haven't really played much of either games but it was a general impression.

I hadnt played brawl yet dont have the japanese verison. I dont know what the game is like i will just wait till it comes out.

You should see the Kyoto vs Tokyo match. Virtually lagness I might say.

As for speed, I'd say this one registers. Especially with 4x4 play. I'm guessing things would get real messy with the sheer amount of items and move sets.
