LOL!?
And where do you live? LOL "in my chipset" huh?
Well in the real world, there is no such thing as a legal age for sex LOL.
I think your thinking about porn...which is 18.
Otherwise yeah, you can have sex at whatever age you want...

Not many regard this, however.
At any rate, Happy BDay.

Location?
I know there's an age gap that you must follow to prevent satuatory (sp) rape but other than that I thought it was smooth sailing. Girls that get pregnant at like 14 don't get like arrested or anything.

Correct.
It is not illegal to have sex at any age lol...
Definitely not in USA or Canada.

*Sigh* People sometimes... I swear to god...
A guy who just turned 18 decides to go for a stroll, little did he know, this will be a big turning point in his life. While at his favorite local coffee shop, he sees this cute girl in the corner, by herself, with a laptop surfing the internet.
Since it's his birthday, he is able to muster up some courage to waltz up to her and initiate a conversation. One thing leads to another and they are sitting there, drinking coffee and conversing with one another. They begin to pack up their things, he wants to walk her home, because he is a desperate fellow.
About halfway to her home, she takes a detour into an alley-way and drags him in as well. Well folks, you know how this part goes, so I'll spare you the details. During the dirty deed, he gets caught red-handed, so to speak, by one of your friendly neighborhood police officers (or pigs to some of you guys).
While at the station, the police officer asks for a form of identification, he takes it out and hands it to the man in the uniform, his lady does the same. While looking at both ID's, the cop notices something, the girls ID says she does not turn 18 until 2010, while his says he does not turn 18 until 2008.
He then gets thrown in prison because of statutory rape and becomes a sex offender for life, THE END.
Edit: It is called statutory RAPE for a reason. You must be a certain age to LEGALLY consent to the act of sex because legislation believes that people who are underage are not in the right state of mind when consenting to the act, so they are not prosecuted but the person who IS of age to consent gets canned big time.

We are exactly 2 months, and 2 years apart from eachother.
*creepy sound effect*
Happy Birthday bro! Have a good one!
Anyone know how that statutory rape deal works out? I'm not worried...I'm just wondering if I will be breaking the law. My girlfriend is 17 and I will be 18 (10 months apart) if its not even a full year, does it still count? :P

...wait so i was right?
There is no illegal age for sex?
The age of consent is just an age so that cops can do shit to you if they find u with a girl whose not of age to consent?
LOL...wow thats retarded..especially if the girl wanted to have sex LOL.

cute girl
The legal term for this would be "jailbait".
You need to present reasonable cause for believing that she wasn't such.
If you go for direct confrontation and just make one up, it should be easy for your representation to move for discharging on the grounds of the claimant (if its the state and not the girl that is) being unable to provide evidence to disprove.
Oh and since I snuggled my way into this thread, I am for sure not leaving without leaving my best wishes.
Happy BD.
