Hello! I am currently figuring out exactly what kind of RPG I am planning on investing time and money into developing but I need people that are interested in helping be brain storm and decide what do to.

I am currently hashing out the choice of either doing a classic animated dungeon crawler....

or....

A cyber punk shadowrun "type" rpg with jacking into to computers, using full animation for this part and then cutting down on costs by using images when not jacked in similar to "Snatcher." Using talking portraits for character speech etc.

I think the cyber punk game stands a higher chance in todays market even though I do itch for a good dungeon crawler personally.

Also I need story line ideas.

Dungeon crawler, but give it modern aspects, and not just pure dungeon crawling.

Cyberpunk is old, way old. Maybe an idea like this in the 90's but not now.

One MAJOR tip, that barely any game follows through on:

Make everything the player does count, dont just give exp for just slaying the same dam monsters over and over, it just means traveling/trading/"jobs" are a waste of time and gets you no further.

i suggest add stuff like mining spots in a dungeon.
Make cool jobs :
A gears of war kind of job : Uses gun's with melee function aswell
drainer : drains mana / hp and can summon blood pets

and so on
