I have recently been on a quest to find a good rpg that is playable on lower end computers. This search brought me to the witcher. I played the demo and decided it was the ony game fun enough that makes me nOt care about lag. But after buying the game and playing it thourougly for about a week, the worst possible thing happened. I lost the disk. It has completelydisaeared of the face of the earth. "No biggie right?" I say to myself, "'l just instal a no-cd patch, after all, I did pay full price". But again to my utter disapointmant, the game fails when I run it because it cant load "languages.2da. Is there a way to fix this? WHY DO THESE THINGS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME!!!! I DESERVE A GOOD GAME SOMETIMES TOO!!!!!

find a better no CD patch, or look at documentation that came with the patch to see if it mentions solutions for possible errors. Makes sure the patch is for your version of the game.
