The problem with a 2D game thats in a 3D world is you will lose depth of perception.

"How far is that block in front of me?"

It will become so tedious turning the camera to all different angles just to make sure you can jump or move wherever it is your moving.

That is why most of these types of games tilt the camera or go isometric. This way the player doesn't have to worry about controlling the camera....

I think the idea is stupid, but thats my opinion. The game itself looks alright, but pretty average in terms of platformers.
