Welcome to the forums.

I'm not going to any concerts, due to a lack of funds. *sniff*
Although, my band is just getting started, pretty good.

I've got a ticket to see the Cure at the Air Canada center on May 15. I'm probably going to go see Opeth as well when tickets go on sale.

edit: ok, they are on sale as of yesterday. Change my previous statement to "I will buy a ticket as soon as I get my next paycheque."

Waiting For Daft Punk To Hit USA.
Recently Went to see Aiden,
And Going to see RJD2 in April.
There hasn't been that many shows out for bands that I would want to travel a distance for lately.

I envy you so much.

Now that I think about, I have never ever been to a concert... that is unless you count orchestras and pianos as a concert.

I was supposed to go see Madball and Death Before Dishonor last month, but couldn't figure out if the show was actually going down or not. No presale tickets for that date (and it was the ONLY date without presale)

I'm prolly going to Warped Tour though. The last two years have been pretty sad and disappointing, but this year they are promising to bring back the "punk" theme, rather than the "holy shit, all these bands sound like chicks" theme.

Ex:

Against Me!
Aggrolites
Bouncing Souls
The Briggs
The Bronx
Horrorpops
Norma Jean
Pennywise
Reel Big Fish
Street Dogs
The Vandals

Etc, etc. :)

The warped line-up is so bad this year.

I won't attend it this year.

And the past two years was awesome IMO. Circa Survive was my highlight this year

Must have different tastes in music then :D

I've been going for (almost) 10 years now...so, I can't stop going. Its a yearly tradition...

And, my friends will have an apartment near the venue this year...so, I can just camp out there. Should be AWESOME.

Apocalyptica 7th of March, The Mars Volta 14th of March, The Cure 20th of March.
Vast 2nd of April, Bjork 20th of April.
Iron & Wine 16th of May.
Radiohead 24th of June, Radiohead 25th of June.
Converge 18th of July.

My upcoming concerts, always being added to.

It pales in comparison to '06, where I went to about 50 concerts. I've grown tired of shows really. Well, not shows, but the whole process of going, which used to be what I loved doing as much as seeing the band themselves.

They are AWESOME live...if you haven't seen them yet.

I used to go to a lot of shows...tried really hard to make 1 or 2 a month. But, the club I used to go see bands at had to close (people suing, everyone got hurt. Assholes)

I miss that place so much! :(

Pretty sure I am in that crowd somewhere.

Edit: No, nevermind...that was totally different from what I'd typed in. But, thats the venue.

I've seen them a lot, I'm pretty tight with Jake Bannon. Well, we're on first name terms and email each other now and then. It allows me to get free pass to their shows if I can get in touch with them in time.
