It doesn't necesarily have to be realistic, just long. Prefferably over 26 episodes.

Tenjou tenge, Hajime no Ippo, Fist of the North Star, Cowboy Bepop(Not generally based on fighting,but has great scenes), and Baki The Grappler.

But the issue here, however, is that the series is cut off at episode 76. In order to finish it, you'll need to read about 600+ more chapters.

Baki, on the other hand, was really, really creepy. The expressions just freaked me out and the over-muscular bodies were freaky as well.

I would go with some great action shows that have just as strong a story;

Well I'm teh anime MASTA in this area. This anime was sooo generic. It was shounen with breasts.
The story was nothing new at all. The whole I was weak, I want to be strong to protect you(that pissed me off because she was stronger then him, talk about looking down on woman). Then every fight he had like 5 episodes of training then used that 1 move to win.
Then at the end, an amazing twist happened and he used all the moves he learned! D: OMFG!

The animation was good, I like that drawing style, though it's always in perverted anime with girls with huge breasts which was shown in this one as well. The music was meh.
Overall it was just another shounen anime, meh meh meh.
No twists or original story line, same old thing.

What part of the animation was good?! What part of the art style was good?! I swore Kenichi would sprout breasts at any minute because he was that damn emasculated.

At least make him uglier. Like, Renton. Renton qualifies as a man because he's held a rifle, and he's one ugly sum*****.
