I'm looking for an good spec laptop with my budget 800$ USD, but im not a hardware person. Can anyone help me find a good one online please? Thanks in advance. :3
P.S I just need it for research, homework, browse internet, watch videos, and listen to music. In other words not for game, and i realized this is a game forum :rofl:

the cheapest u could get would b $900. but that would be probably a a slow 1.

The EEE PC is unbelievably cheap and extremely portable. It will suffice for basic web browsing, word processing and some music management. Not sure about video, it has an extremely small hard drive.

Yea i would also recomend this, and when you get some spare cash i would upgrade it to 2 gigs of ram.
Also, although the Asus EEE PC is thiny and cheap, its very under powered, using a crappy linux distro (although you can run XP or another linux distro) no ram, no space, like a 8'' screen. Not worth it.
