Lol. For those of you unfortunate enough to live in a place where they still recognize daylight savings time, don't forget to reset your clocks, and hour ahead.

Yessir. My cable box said "8:30" when I woke up. My clock upstairs said "7:30"...and, I just checked the news to make sure.

Why do we still even use this system? There are some states that don't. Does that mean I go an hour ahead/back in time when I cross the state boarder?

Seriously, wasn't this developed to give farmers more hours of daylight? Who the **** is a farmer anymore, and why can't they just work 4-5 instead of 5-6? Is it really THAT much of a difference?

I know, when I went downstairs, I forgot that it had happened, and thought I somehow had found a time warp.

Although it's still useless.

If you du like DST, Move to Arizona, the price of dealing with 200 or lower degrees is, that they do not have Daylight Savings.

Yea, I wa sup 1:58 talkign to my friend and then he went 'WTF MY CLOCK WENT FROM 156 TO 3:00' And I looked at mine and said 'Mine still says o. . ..Oh now it changed'

Haha, I remember I foorgot about daylight savings and my alarm woke me up and the usn was up and I ws like 'OH NOES, I HAVE SCHOOL I MISSED THE BUS I'M A FAILURE' and I called for a ride and they said 'Its DST, you didn't miss the buss'

I felt so shame. .D:

Blame Benjamin Franklin and his crackhead ideas. First he wants to make a nation's bird a turkey, then he comes up with this.

Actually, no it wasn't.

Farmers hate DST because it ruins there time schedules. Their animals don't adjust to the time, so the farmers have to redo their schedule completely. That's why Arizona does not have DST, because it is primarily a farming state.

DST was created during WWII in an effort to reduce energy usage by making it so that families wouldn't need to use their lights until later in the evening. It reverts back in winter due to the fact that it doesn't help during that time of years power usage. Ultimately, some people believe that DST has no real purpose today, but there are still those who argue that DST is still helping with our energy conservation.

I would expect more reminders about this from the media and such, but I haven't had much time to watch TV lately. I remember the people on the news stations saying things like "Don't forget to turn your clocks forward tomorrow" or something like that.

I was almost late for my damn AAU basketball tryouts because of it. -_-

Thats almost exactly how it went down.

Yeah I was playing Golden Sun, and I was getting my *** kicked by some boss, and it was about 5 to 2, and then I look back after I got my *** kicked and it was 5 after 3 and I'm like "WHAT THE -- GODDAMN I HATE THIS GAME!" cause halfway through my sentence I realized what had happened.

Ben Franklin.. World War II? Ok now the time warp has been found.

Source please... I thought it was originally Ben Franklin's idea but maybe it wasn't put into effect until WWII but even then it wasn't invented in that time period..

Oh and for those who aren't sure how to set their clocks during DST... Spring Forward, Fall Backwards. You always Spring Forward so you set your clock forward 1 hour in the Spring and you always Fall Backwards so you set your clokc backwards 1 hour in the Fall. Just a little way to remember. =)
