Well, after waiting in line in the cold wind for two hours, my friend and I finally made it to the door, $58 sitting in my pocket waiting to be spent, and...

I just can't believe this. So they're running out of copies, only the people who preordered it can get one? This is just ridiculous.

this game is hot, even my neighbour had to reserve a copy a few months back. He reserved 5 copies to sell em' cause he knew Nintendo's marketing tactics after the Wii shortage trap. Lol~ I should be able to play it with him soon~

I went to the tournament came in 2nd place -_-. How cliche the person who won used mario to beat me... Oh well I got the game, he gets to go to another tournament, I get to relax and enjoy the game :D.

Favorite characters right now. Ike, Snake, Ness, and the pokemon trainer.

Gamestop = so nub. They asked me to buy a strategy guide and 3 other nerds who were sitting with me go. The internet is free. It was awesome :D. + Aol told me guides are for nubs.

I felt so out of place, was the only one at the tournament without a reserved copy at that particular store. I pre-ordered it at this other EBGames that's hidden in a plaza, so no one really knows about it.

It's the place I got my Wii a week after it came out, so I figured it'd be best to reserve it there and guarantee I get a copy.

They had a bunch of extra copies too though.

Just about to go play it until I beat it or fall asleep trying.

I just got it and its awesome I didnt test the online yet so I dont have my friend code to give you (and I think its better for now cause I suck at this game lol)

I got it today. It's great. So far, i've only unlocked ness, marth, and captain falcon. My favorite character is Pit. I know all of his moves, and when to use them.

Btw, we should post out brawl friend codes so we can play online some time. Ill add mine in a bit. I'm too lazy to go downstairs, turn on the wii, start the game, connect to Wifi, write down the code, turn the Wii off, come back upstairs and edit my post and type it in.

Finally unlocked all of the characters. Wolf was a pain in the *** to get I must say.

I know it's a little deep in the threads, but it's still legal, and I've just been too busy playing Brawl.
Yes, I did get a copy. The day after the midnight release, my dad drove by a Target and saw that they had tons of copies. So he ran in, got a copy for me, and I paid him back at the house for it.
Now I have all the characters that are available before beating the SSE.
But I can't get WiFi to work. Can I not battle against characters I don't have, because when I first tried, no dice. Haven't tried recently.
Fave characters are Kirby (always), Ike, and a little bit Olimar.

Might get my code up soon.

You can play against anyone even if they play against you with characters you don't have or they don't have. The thing is Nintendo's servers are getting raped by the mass amount of users playing, and on top of that if you play against someone far away from your coast you're screwed, especially if either person has an average connection.

I'm getting it tomorrow(stupid pre-order, had to ship that late). Anyway, I just wanted to know which controller type you guys are using. I, myself, will probably use either the Wii Remote+Nunchuk or Wii remote sideways.

Majority of players use the GC remote because its a lot more simpler than the wiimote.
