ah, another newcomer in search of some proper help.
I'd recommend you check up my guide for abit, reckon it wouldn't be VERY helpful to veterans of mmorpging of other games, but worth a decent exposure to what's there to offer in the game and adjust accordingly =)
(and yes if you play jmaple please change your regional settings back to non-jap/non-korean)
