I need a new manga to read and I'm also curious about what you think the best manga made was. I think mine would have to be Berserk because it's lots of badass killing but underneath it's got morals and undertones from the real world (greed, lust, envy, etc). Plus i liked the art style.

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou is my personal favorite. The Jing King of Bandit mangas were pretty dope also.

I haven't ever been into manga but ever since I started working in a bookstore recently we have a TON of manga. (probably old stuff and not very many volumes but still quite a bit more than I thought we did) So now I'm thinking I might check out one or two. I was thinking about starting with Hellsing because it looks better than the anime (i liked the anime) or Dragon Head. (Anyone ever read Dragon Head? It sounds really good from reading the back)

I also realised i really like ecchi mangas. Keeps you interested without needed a great plot :p

I read as much manga as I watch anime. In most cases I like manga more but cba reading all the time :P

Berserk, Samurai Deeper Kyo (the anime is bad compared to it), Full Metal Alchemist, Utopia Avenger (new and ongoing) and Rebirth (new and ongoing) are my favs.

The last two don't exist as anime atm as far as I know.

Katekyio Hitman Reborn, cos its funny, serious, and so much more, all at the same time. great story too.

My favorite at the current time is "Our Kingdom", but I generally read anything with Naduki Koujima's work in it.

So I'll simply go with One Piece, I've been reading the manga for years, and still can't wait for the new volumes to come out.

Used to like HxH alot...but then the bugs came in. *shrugs*

Vinland saga is pretty cool.
Mirai Nikki is one of my favorites.
Shin Angyo Onshi a korean manga but still really good. Wish they made an anime out of it.

Pet Shop of Horrors - Fantastic horror manga, with interesting morals.

Et Certera (NOTE: Need to finish...to Amazon!) Got at least half the series, and I adore it. Very underrated, however, as most people have never heard of it. Fantasy Western.

I might have to check out Pet Shop of Horrors. I'm interested in horror manga, know of any more that are surely worth looking into?

I LOVE THAT MANGA! Though I'm not sure it's a manga...I think it's more of a doujin. O_o Pretty extreme too...

So goddamned hilarious, and though it seems like your run-of-the-mill porno doujin, it's actually got a REAL nice story, and the writing keeps you in constant suspense. XD
