Oh my lord. I don't know how many people I see sitting in town bragging about how high of a level their sharp mind is. All I see is a bunch of morons who wasted a bunch of AP that doesn't come at ease later on. I will personally help you guys to learn how to read monsters so you don't waste countless AP on Sharp Mind.

So here I'll explain what they do so you know what mode they are in.

Defense
You know the monster is in defense if the monster starts walking slowly to you and around you, also has a bubble ontop of their heads.

Smash
If the monster has the pop up thing ontop of their heads and they are charging at you. Even if you don't see it at the top of their heads(like golem because they are so tall) you know they are in smash if they stand there for a second, then just charge you. It's common sense to see that they were charging the skill.

Counter
This is the most obvious, if I ever see one of you run and attack a monster just standing there you are a moron.
Counter is when they just stand there. That's it, it's pretty obvious to call out.

Windmill
Windmill is also pretty simple to call out. Not many monsters our level do it, but the bosses and field bosses all do it. You can call it out because what I found they all do a starting action. Like Dark Knight put up his sword, and Golem put up his arm. You'll also notice that they stand still like counter also, but they are pulsating(powering up) as they do a action so you know that they are going to pull something out and kapwn your ***, so run back.

Normal Attack
You know they are going to normal attack you if they are circling you without that box on top of their heads. Or if they are just running at you with nothing on their heads, or never stopped to power up or nothing.

Aggro
You know you pull aggro when they have 2 exclamation marks above their heads. If they have one then they spotted you and are waiting for a opportunity to strike.

If you get Sharp Mind past rank F, then your stupid.

You can pretty much tell from the way they move. Half the time it doesn't even show the skill for me. Just a little "?" where the box is.

Sharp mind takes the fun out of battles, it a lot more fun to figure out what they are doing rather than letting the game tell you.

IDK where your buying your accessories at (the things by your head slot in Inventory menu) because they are not out, but players sell them for 5k =_=

Sharpmind is for like newcomers to MMORPGS probably or noobs that don't understand the stances of the attacks or anything. Or think they actually need it.

You don't need it because every monster shows the same type of actions before they do that move. Sharp mind is a giant waste of AP which is more important at beginner levels to have.

Bryan, show me a video where you would need sharp mind to know what it was thinking. Also, BTW some people at rank A sharp mind still can't see what a wisp does. So that adds to the waste of AP. If they never had sharp mind at the start and learned what monsters were planning and all so they reacted faster and read better. Then they would never run into the problem when a boss or something gives them a ?.

You're stupid if you can't read without it, and you're bound to suck because you'll react slower to monsters on the account that you have to look at the box on their acts before you act. when you get used to it without looking at the box it comes to you much quicker and its like your sub conscience is telling you what to do.

Don't you listen in school. Smash doesn't always work 100% of the time. That's why in school they always teaching your about the team work thing, like the archers stun so you can get 100% smash chance. I learned that it didn't work all the time fighting that black warrior field boss. Still easy to know what it was thinking.

That doesn't happen because you usually aggro it first. Even then you should just do a N+1 combo because it will die anyways. O.o

That's basically telling someone in maple story to put all their stats into str when they're a mage.

It's stupid, you can do it, but in the end it's stupid. Why would you want to waste all your AP causing you to have to P2P to get the build you wanted correctly. That's just plain dumb.

There are skills in every game you don't need at all... out of all the skills in this game there are none I would tell people not to level up except this one. Because it obviously does squat nothing.

Heres a fun little fact, number cruncher: Mabinogi is in no way, shape, or form, your generic MMO. There are no "gimp" skills, and your character will not be "gimp" because of its choises (unless of course, the player sucks at fighting, but thats another story)

The only thing your going at is being an elitest, the same people who'll kick people out of parties or guilds because "OMG, You dont have X item that gives you +1 Y stat! FUKIN NOOB LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL *Kick*"
