wow. why can't people just program 3d games into browsers. it will take just as long as a text game.

Unless you're talking about Runescape, most "3d" web browser games are actually 2d games dressed up to look 3d. Actual 3d browser games take a significant development cycle to produce.

runescape is 3d. Warcraft 3 is 3D ismometric [it says so on their website] I are member on runescape. i was on forums and asked if it was 3d. A jagex employee replyed with this message

This game is in fact, 3D isometric. people often confuse this with 2d isometric. There is one differenct. in 2D isometric when you turn your camera view (such as in Bungie's Marathon Series,)The enemy is always facing you. No matter what direction they are facing on their web browser. [if marathon was online multiplayer through web browser] runescape people move around you and can perform many different actions while you could be not moving. And i was working on the Runescape Project (duh) and it is in fact, 3D isometric.

I'm enjoying mythici, by the way. I think the game's got potential. I'd like to see more browser games with a unique take on mmo gaming. It seems like most of the browser games I find are just rehashes of stuff that's been done before. I like the artistic style too. I too am a fan of Photoshop's artistic filters. ;)
