I'm looking for a type of game that has amazing PvP, where there are little or no safe zones. Also, I would like a decent community and active guilds. Do not suggest any recent game, or Shadowbane.

www.maidmarian.com/sherwood.htm i know u will probably flame it. but still. it has pretty good pvp system. and people have guilds. you can save your progress as long as you use the same computer. and if you are looking to buy a game. then i suggest guild wars.

And as for Guild Wars. It gets lonely playing by yourself.

Sadly out of all the mmorpgs i've played, which is a good deal runescape is pvp champ. You go into the "wild" and if you suck you're losing your goodies. No ifs ands or buts about it, you lost your crap. I wish more games had a you lost your crap pvp feature.
