I'm really looking for Romance/Mecha/War... and I'd prefer if it wasn't long distance love, They both have to be in the war..Or fighting the same war.Even on different sides is ok.

For war.. Saikano. Not so much actual war, but the effects of war on the relationship. It's depressing as hell, even for me.

For Drama.. Kare Kano? I dunno, I've heard good things about it, but I haven't watched it.

A good romance/mecha is Kannazuki no Miko, though you have to not mind lesbians (which I love, oh ho ho ho).
Warning now, if you watch it, it gets DARK.
But the ending is so romantic and beautiful, it made me cry.

Love Hina or even Chobits. Ah My Goddess (OVA/Series/Movie) is good too for that kind of stuff.

Hmm like other people have posted Full Metal Panic! is good... I would also recommend Chrono Crusade, but beware because that one is sad.
